Bonaparte Breads

I took a European friend for lunch, and he said it smelled so much like the bakeries at home that felt he was dreaming. They bake a variety of top notch breads in their imported wood-burning oven, handmade loaves dark and crusty, like nothing anywhere around here.

They have a short lunch menu, everything I've tried has been excellent. Enjoying it in their open courtyard makes it even more enjoyable on a pleasant day.

Want some real french bread made by frenchmen? this is the place. there are terrific french pastries there too - This bakery supplies many local restaurants with their french bread so check it out. Its in Savage Mill and the kiln they use to bake the bread came from france.
