We went to Gabriel's for their annual ghost dinner/tour. The food was skillfully prepared and seasonally appropriate. The tour was great. Fun and spooky w/ a walk through the attic and then down to a stone cellar w/ dirt floor. I really hope to go back again soon!

I've been going to Gabriels Inn for many years and continue to love it. You can order your meal either French style or American style. With American, you get everything on your plate at once; you eat it, and you're done. It's cheaper that way, but nowhere near as fun as dining French style. When you go the French-style route, your dinner is staggered over 6 courses. There's a soup course, a salad course, a cheese course, a pickled-tray course (my favorite part of the meal), a main course, and dessert. You can buy $25 gift certificates for Gabriels for $10 on Restaurant.com, which really help make it affordable -- and worth a try. (BTW, they make excellent creme brulet.)

PROS: Good food, leasurely meal, discount coupons available, never crowded.
CONS: The building is kind of run down, and it's out of the way.
