specials are great

Pros: good food and great service

Cons: very little

My son and I had lunch there on a weekday. He had the open-faced turkey with stuffing, and I had the meatloaf plate. Both very delicious. Very good service. Home-made deserts, cake and pie done just right with home-made flavor and consistency, just like my aunt used to make. I went by myself once, with my wife another time (meatloaf for me!), and my wife had a club sandwich. And a piece of cake. Delicious! And we drove 21 miles to get there! As for the comment below that they might be prejudiced: They _are_ in that part of Cecil County where that isn't unheard of, but I did not see it on my visits. There was a small but mixed crowd in there the three times I've been. I wish they had longer hours, but understand they open up early for the local farmers and those who work out of town. It is a proto-typical small town diner, with character and fine food to enjoy.

Sue's Restaurant is the perfect place for breakfast. Their a bit close courtiers but a nice counter and diner like atmosphere. I'm a breakfast eater so that's all I've tasted.

No doubt the food is very good. The problem with this place is that they are prejudiced. I was turned away once. You know folks they had a disclaimer that they had the right to refuse service to anyone they wish for. Guess why that is?

The food here is reminiscent of diner fare. A good diner. Service is friendly with home-made deserts and real icecream shakes. You can sit at a table or at the counter like in the 'old days'. This restaurant has been in business for years and has a devoted following among local residents. I have eaten here near a dozen times and every meal has been like home-cooked. However, be aware that their take out dinners are a little pricey for the amount you get. Best to eat in.
