5 Stars: Awesome!! (by Anabel P.)

Great food! Moved here from New York recently and had not found a place that would wow me and then I went to Vicino and BAM!! I am "wowed!". Its a small place, no music, but it allows you to have great conversation while enjoying food that is unbelievably tasty! Go, take your family, take a friend, but hurry and go. Oh, and the owner is the cooker and has a wonderful disposition!!! Have a great time! See you there!!!

5 Stars: Great food (by karyn k.)

This restaurant has some fantastic food. The decor isn't much to look at but once you taste your meal that doesn't matter. Their menu is very similar to Pines of Rome in Bethesda. Their white pizza is the absolute best and you can count on their daily specials to be equally good. The wait staff is extremely efficient. The prices are very reasonable. It's a great place to take the family.

5 Stars: Greatest Hole-in-the-Wall Italian! (by Lola S.)

Located on Sligo Ave @ Georgia in Silver Spring Vicinos is a great hole-in-the-wall kinda place.

Their decor is very low maintenance- maroon table clothes, plastic covers- fake flowers- bad artwork...but the FOOD IS INCREDIBLE!

Start with a small white pizza with fontina cheese and order a side of sauteed mushrooms- It's a good finger food starter.

Their Lasagna is to die for!

2 people can easily order appetizer, dinner, a large carafe of wine and stay under $35!

Enjoy!
