Amazing instructors. Kind and patient, while stern and strict. My daughter (4) loves it here. Highly recommend.

Ms. Lisa, Mr. Brain and staff run a great afterschool program. Not perfect but what is? However, if I have a problem I go directly to Ms. Lisa and she rectifies it immediately. She is passionate about her business and expects the best from not only the children but of the parents and staff as well. Promotions are VERY hectic and filled to capacity but again they identified this as a problem and are now working on splitting the promotions up into smaller groups. I highly recommend.

I've been training @ this location for many years now, and honestly I love it...it's structure perfectly in my opinion...the 'children' you may see in the adult class are those who are either big for there age or have reached a maturity level required to train with an older crowd...i mean let's think about it...do you want your 5 year old to train w/ a 15 year old? I doubt it...this is a very rewarding place to train in the art of Kenpo and is VERY closely structured to the original Ed Parker system w/ some distinct changes to make it a unique experience. Also, it is part of the A.K.K.S. (American Kenpo Karate System) which is headed by Jeff Speakman, a very prominent figure in Kenpo. I could type for hours about this place, but i'll keep it short, this place is great...I would recommend it to anyone interested in the art of Kenpo Karate, but if you're looking for a "fast track to black belt" type of school, I suggest picking up some DVD's from Black Belt Mag because honestly this is not one of them. You will be promoted fairly based on skill and determination. Any school that promotes you based on the time you've been there, and not on personal achievements isn't worth attending...PERIOD.

I joined this school and found it to be very rewarding. As far as children, only those 13 years old and up that are mature enough are allowed to train with the adults. While the class is more relaxed than some, it is disciplined enough to keep it safe and structured. Belt promotions are based on individual accomplishments (as they should be) not on time frames. Overall it is a very good school and I would recommend it to anyone looking for training in the American Kenpo style.

I went to this place for a trial 6 month membership and only earned one belt. The adult clases suck because they allow kids in the classes. I think adult classes should mean you must be at least 18 to be in the class not 12 and 13 year olds whole fool around and hinder any adults from learning. I would never go to them to learn kenpo.
