This tiny shop in Takoma Park has a very good selection of organic foods, vegetarian cuisine and other "health" food items. They sell fresh vegetables and fruit and none of the over-processed junk that you can get at the normal supermarket. They also have a good selection of vitamins and organic cosmetics and personal care products. The prices are relatively good; a little less than you'd have to pay for similar products at Whole Foods.

This small community natural food store is a great place to shop for organic fruit and vegetables, premade sandwiches, cereals, snacks, etc. It's a great place to find vegetarian foods that are hard to find in regular grocery stores. They also have a small section of supplements and personal care products. Prices are competitive with other stores of this type. It costs $100 (refundable) to join the co-op, and you don't have to be a member to shop there. There is a sister store in Silver Spring.

PROS: Variety of foods available, helpful employees
CONS: Parking can be a pain
