Ron Stewart and team turned the exterior of my salon into a showplace, and they left if picture perfect in time for a client party we were hosting. Everyone is amazed at the difference and beauty he created at Liu Liu Salon. Ron is so creative in his design, thinking of ideas that I never would have myself, while staying within your given budget. His team was friendly, neat and timely. I highly recommend Steward Landscaping for anyone who wants a beautiful exterior.

I recently had my front yard soded, only about 450 sq. feet, for $580.00. Included in this price was rototilling the soil (usually a minimum of 4 inches), a nice layer of top soil (usually a minimum of 3 inches) a lime application and other nutrients for the soil. Within two and a half weeks my new sod was completely over taken by crabgrass. I called Stewart Lawn to have them come out and look at my lawn. It took several calls before they finally sent someone to my house. He looked at my lawn and said this was normal but he would talk to his boss about doing the job over at my request. His boss (Stewart) called me and said he was not going to replace the lawn because they installed it correctly and did nothing wrong. He did offer to pull the crabgrass and treat the lawn. I declined that offer because after they pull the crabgrass there would be nothing left. When I asked Stewart what the steps in preparing the soil were, he would not answer the question. So I explained what the installers did not do. First, they did not till the soil at all, the tiller was never taken off the truck. Second, they did not have enough topsoil, it was spread so thin that you could still see the clay underneath of it including blades of grass or weeds that were not removed before the new sod was installed. Third, I never saw the lime application applied. At this point Stewart became argumentative and said everything I just said was false because he talked to his crew and I couldn't have known all this unless I was there. Well, I was there with my brother and we watched them do the entire job, of course he didn't believe me and said as much. He became very belligerent and kept repeating that they didn't do anything wrong despite the fact that I just told him that I was there and witnessed that the prep work was not done correctly. At this point he was raising his voice and getting pretty obnoxious and told me there was nothing more to discuss and that I owed him $35 for the first weed application. I told him that he came highly recommended and he then told me to keep my comments to myself (meaning don?t bad mouth his company to others) and then said goodbye and hung up. Unfortunately for him, several of my neighbors were also going to use Stewart to sod their lawns, needless to say they will be looking for a different landscaper now. So much for taking pride in your work and guaranteeing it. Honestly, I wouldn?t guarantee that work either.
