This place has the greatest sushi ever. They're super nice and service is fast. My sister lives in MD and when I go to visit her I make sure we get sushi from Chiu's. They're scallop roll is to die for. They also have an immense selection of rolls and sashimi and sushi. Everything is so fresh. Rolls are expensive, but they're big so it's pretty worth it.Parking is a pain, especially since it's by the harbor. There's a parking garage across the street, though I've never used it. I'm an avid sushi lover and this is one of my two favorite sushi restaurants ever. So delicious-- you'll love it.

Deciding on the best Sushi place is a constant debate with all of my raw-fish eating friends.
I found Chui's back when it had a view of the harbor (and the sun). Since then large buildings are being constructed in front of it, making it a little harder to find.
It's located next to Whole Foods in East Harbor and conveniently- right next to a parking garage!
I have been to this restaurant about 10 times and everytime has been perfect. The sushi is FRESH, well prepared, tasty- and presented to you like a work of art.
Hot towels handed to you before and after your meal by Kimono wearing Japanese women. We only sit at the sushi bar and are always served something complimentary. The waitstaff is EXTREMELY attentive. The second your beverage is low you are offered another, the second your plate is empty- it's carried away.
Chui's is my all time favorite sushi in Baltimore...even better than the X Street Market! And that's saying ALOT!
PROS: Fresh, well prepared sushi, large cooked menu, great service.
CONS:

"Minato has the best sushi in Baltimore, I think. It's impeccably fresh ..."
