Baltimore Magazine distinguished Minato Restaurant as the "Best Sushi Bar Scene" in the city.
Minato has the best sushi in Baltimore, I think. It's impeccably fresh and they have interesting combinations that I haven't seen in other sushi restaurants. Their other dishes are also excellent, especially the miso soup. I would eat there several times a week if I could. The staff is very friendly and service is always excellent. The restaurant is quiet with a very elegant, understated decor. Dining there is a lovely experience in all ways.

Minato is a great little sushi restaurant in Mt. Vernon, right near the monument. Their sushi is always fresh and tasty, and they have a great 3-roll combo option for $10. The agedashi (sp?) appetizer here is great, too! Be sure to stop by for the bento Box lunch special, which is like a little sampler of lots of tasty japanese treats. Enjoy!
