Surprise Shop

The Surprise Shop has been around forever and is located in an old stone house on Allegheny Avenue in Towson. Every room in on two stories is full of clothing, housewares, books and knick-knacks. There isn't as much turnover in stock as in the bigger thrft stores in the area but The Surprise Shop makes up for it in charm. The staff is mostly elderly ladies and they always have a basket of candy bars for sale so even if you don't find a new outfit or vase or handbag, you can at least leave with an edible treat!

this is a really fun little shop located in a church in towson, md. they sell pretty much everything from housewares to clothing. you can usually find some nice things here like a fun vintage hat, or a nice set of dishes for very little money. the women that run the shop are incredibly sweet and helpful. a very cute place to visit if you live here or are visiting!

The surprise shop is a little old consignment shop in Towson. It is located in a creaky old house with tons of charm, and the ladies that run the store are equally charming. Prices are very low, but you may have to pick through lots of stuff before you find a gem. The store stocks women's and men's clothes, housewares, toys and other little odds and ends. I used to shop here a lot, and it was always fun to go to the store, buy an old board game for $3, and take it home and play it.
