Planned Parenthood-Maryland

I was in a very desperate situation where I needed an abortion and could only find information regarding PP at the time (my best friend referred me to them). I spent about a month total trying to contact them, but was continuously disconnecting for being on hold on the lines for too long. I would constantly hear "You are number 2 in line. Please hold..." only to be told 10 minutes later "Your wait time is logner than expected. Please hang up and call back again -CLICK-" I ended up going to a couple of other places and got an abortion at 17 weeks after a frantic search.

I did not have health insurance, so I went to Planned Parenthood. Needless to say, I spent approximately 5 hours waiting to be seen here. I was having some health problems, which got worse after I was seen. When I contacted them to tell them about the problems, they downplayed them, telling me that there wasn't anything seriously wrong. I'm glad I didn't trust them, and went to another doctor, because I was so sick that I ended up in the hospital. Avoid this Planned Parenthood.

When I first got here to Baltimore, I didn't know where to look for a Ob/Gyn. Knowing that planned parent hood has some on staff, I tried to call them to make an appointment to see one. After a few months I found a nice doctor that I am very happy with. But no thanks to them. I called various times from 10-7 pm. More than once I would call at 2pm and the machine, after telling me that business hours were 10-3pm, would tell me to call back during normal business hours ! Don't waste your time.
