I read the review of the customer who thought the Stadium Tavern wings and other items were over priced. Evidently he does not eat out often. The Stadium has won The Best Wings Award for the past five years. All their items are fresh and never frozen. They are also jumbo wings and not the size that our chains sell. Open Pit beef is cooked fresh weekly on an outdoor pit for about five hours. They have the best prices on food and beverage in the tri-state area and famillys are well taken care of. 5 star rating

Some friends of mine highly recommended the Stadium / Crab Shack for the Maryland crabs, so I decided to take the wife out and try them. My first experience at the Stadium was not bad, but pricey. Crabs early in the season are expected to cost more, but some of the other things were out of line.
We mixed it up a bit on the menu with various appetizers as well as crabs. One of the things I thoguht was outrageous was the dozen chicken wings. $9.50 for 12 wings, but it gets better. We could not decide on the flavor of the wings so the server offers to bring us some other flavors on the side. So we ended up with plain wings and 3 flavor wing sauces, old bay, hot and garlic something or another in the small plastic cups. They charged $.50 for the extra sauce, $1.00 for the old bay, $.50 for side of ranch, $.50 for blue cheese and $.50 for celery. So the $9.50 I thought was the most money I was every going to pay for a dozen wings ended up being $12.50 when it was said and done. They were decent, but at best worth $7.95 with the celery. The 2nd thing that was nuts was the pit beef sandwich. We decided to split one. menu price was $7.35 so we decided to try it. The server says "you want hand cut fries with that" and I said sure. So the pit beef was fair at best with no more than 3-4 oz. of meat on it. The fries were good. So the bill comes out and I was charged $2.95 for the fries. So my pit beef I thought was coming with a side ended up costing $10.30 and at best was worth about $6.50 with the fries. So overall, I enjoyed the experience except for seeing the $8.00 in overcharges for BS. The drinks were priced right which is why I will go back, but I know not to order the wings or the pit beef:-)

I love this place and their outside patio. This is right next to a baseball stadium and is a fun way to begin or end the night. I love their food and the service is good.
