Wish I could select ZERO stars! ...

Purchased a used car (with 3 month, 3k coverage) Selected a 2005 BMW Z4 with 84k miles to test drive and fell in love ...

Ben (sales) was excellent, had the answers or got the answers for my many questions and was not pushy at all for the sale.
Martin (used car manager) is a waste! - I had to hound him for a part to be replaced that was broken before I pick up the vehicle (details below) He is not honest in his replies, dont trust him.

Before picking up my car, the dealer was preparing it for pick-up and broke the passenger vent; I had to point it out to them (they were not up front about it) and had follow the guy through the dealership until I got a written commitment they would fix it. Now a week later, no calls or contact to say the part is in and they will repair/replace it. I finally called them and they said the part is "on order" - poor communication! I called my BMW dealer (Passport BMW) they have the part in stock and it is a 10 minute fix. I don't believe they ever ordered the part.

Today had my mechanic (Passport BMW) completed a multi-point inspection and found out the valve cover gasket has a leak, probably something normal with the year/mileage. Called Jim Coleman and informed them of this issue, they say they need to complete the repair YET they are not BMW certified or handle BMW vehicles on their lot often enough for me to trust their mechanics to repair it properly. The same people who broke the vent and were not honest about it.

The Service Manager said on the phone 'we can't keep putting money in the car; we are not making much on it'. As a customer it is not my issue if you do not profit on the sale of a vehicle (I will say the price was excellent) BUT I expect professionalism and follow up on customer commitments.
Martin (Service Manager) stated there is a leak, but it is not leaking enough to fail a state inspection so it is no covered. They have no obligation to repair it.
I also have an extended warranty on the vehicle, they will cover the repair of the valve cover gasket (if Jim Coleman is shady and will not cover it) - just beware! They will try to string you along and not answering questions honestly and accurately.

I bought a 2010 Prius and the after market Rep came after me right after I had signed all the paperwork and I fell for the paint protection and undercoating. The next day I went back to the dealer to have the work done and since I was in a hurry to get back to work I didn't verify if the under coating was done at all; so a week later I washed the car and checked under the car only to discover that there is NO undercoating!! She was quick to charge me and I did paid for the work, I have left repeated messages to FB (the after market lady) and has not responded to any of them. I am planning on contacting the credit card company I used to pay for the work to see if I can file a claim to get my money back.

I can not recommend this dealership to my friends or family for purchasing a new car. I agree with most of the reviews giving them a poor rating. The managers there waste the customers time and energy and they nickel and dime you to death. They will supposedly give you a competitve price but short change the customer by wearing you down with adding in a bunch of backdoor items when you go to the finance department and after you have negotiated the price. Questionable practices, yes. I purchased a 2010 Camry and the quality of the paint on my car is terrible. A decent coat of paint/finish should be a no brainer when buying a new car without paying extra for it. Somewhere along the line they seem to have forgotten that repeat business is the lifeblood of their company.

Coleman Toyota was the absolute worst experience I have ever had in repairing my Toyota Sequoia or any car! Coleman kept the car for 4 days, charged me $2,000 + and did not do the repair correctly. The car subsequently broke down a short time later with the same problem. Coleman also claimed that I needed a brake fluid wash. When I took the car to another repair shop, Coleman never replaced the brake fluid!! Crooks!!

I went to Jim Coleman Toyota for an oil change and tire rotation, thinking it would run me $60 or so. In addition to charging almost $100 (yes, one hundred) for that simple service, they told me I needed a brake fluid flush because the fluid was supposedly dirty, which ran me an additional $140. Turns out, when I had my brakes replaced a couple of months ago I had the fluid replaced. Long and short of it, Coleman Toyota Service is based on dishonesty and it extremely expensive to boot! Go elsewhere/

I came to Jim Coleman expecting the typical car salesman type atmosphere. What I found out what they are nothing like that! This was probably the easiest car buying experience I have ever had. The saleman was easy to work with, polite, wasn't overly pushy - he was great. Not only do I love my car but I will definitely be returning for my next car buying experience.

Our experience was awful. Their service is questionable and I would advise anyone from staying away from this company. They repaired a car we purchased -- under warranty. I called and they changed the warranty to my name over the phone -- and agreed and sent a tow truck. Then they called after they had my car and claimed it wasn't covered -- and wanted me to pay the tow truck fees and would not release the car until we paid. But of course they would be happy to repair the car -- as long as I paid. How else, of course, would we have found their towing company? (And we also have AAA, which we could have used, for free). Aren't they responsible for their own work? Every time you call (if you get anyone at all), you get a different person -- and a different answer. I would not advise anyone from having any business or professional relationship with this company. Period.

Customer service is great if you don't mind waiting for hours when you tell them point-blank you want to buy model X...and you wait and wait and wait while they seemingly think that by keeping you there for hours you won't be willing to waste time elsewhere. Well, that sale was lost, and craigslist.org is looking great now!

I recently purchased my first new car on my own and have to admit i was terrified going into the dealership. But at Jim Coleman Toyota they made it such a pleasant expierence. We negotiated a reasonable price right where i had budgeted to pay. Everyone was so kind and willing to work with me. It made me feel very confident in my choice. I will always use the Jim Coleman dealerships from now on!??

I have just purchased a new car in Coleman??s dealership. I made an appointment to leave my car with them to have some work done (pain protection, etc.) a few days later. I was promised to have an exchange car. As I came in, the promised car was not there. I was waiting 1.5 hrs. Every time I checked with a rep (every 20 minutes or so) it appeared as though my issue was forgotten. After 1.5 hr I was simply directed to a nearby car rental office, which had some working agreement with Coleman, to pick up a car.

Although Coleman??s folks were polite, due to their customer service level, I hope that this was my first and last time I dealt with ??diligence? and ??care? of Jim Coleman??s service department.

Additionally, similarly to the experience posted by another reviewer (Daroon), I found that the extras we paid for my new car did not measure up to our expectations. I was skillfully mislead what I paid (not paid) for.

I took my car in for a door repair...the vehichle was returned with paint chipped on the frame behind that door...Jim Coleman's reps denied chipping the paint, and unfortunately I had no before pics...
When I got home, I realized that 2 wireless headphones for the entertainment system had been removed from my vehicle....and of course, they're denying that too...

After trading in my vehicle, manager refused to provide evidence of my sale to State of MD. After agreeing to give written authorization, as requested, they changed their minds and required more information from me before they would help. Used sales manager and general manager is uncooperative and uninformed. They obviously did not want to assist me. Do not expect any follow through or integrity when dealing with this business.

We were shopping to buy our new Toyota. The service initially was very good but soon after finalizing our decision we realized that we had been dealing with unprofessional people. The manager was rude and unresponsive, the finance department was there to rip off customers and the vehicle was handed dirty and the gas tank at 1/4th full. We paid for the pain protection only to realize that nothing had been done on the car, there were dust all over. It is a dealership I will not visit anymore.

Whether its repairs not completed on time, repairs not complete properly, or repairs just not completed at all, there always seemd to be some kind of problem when I'd bring our car for service at Jim Coleman Toyota. That, coupled with a general attitude that they were doing us a favor by allowing us to pay them to repair our car led us to finally abandon them and go elsewhere for service.
