My wife is a teacher, and this is where we go to get her books for the classroom. She loves the selection and the prices. We spend ALOT of time in this store.

Daedalus is a pleasure to visit and one of the best deals anywhere for nice books. Selection is comprehensive, tends toward the quality end of the spectrum, and the prices are unbeatable. You won't find any crappy romance novels or mass market paperbacks at Daedalus. They buy overstock, and some books may have remainder marks. Occasionally, there is a real treasure to be found. Some of my best books have been purchased at Daedalus. The "new arrivals" section often has signed first editions. They also have a music section and sell other items typical to book stores such as calendars, cards, notebooks, etc. It's a good thing they don't have comfy chairs, or I would park my keister and stay all day.

They are conveniently located off Route 32, near Interstate 95. This place is a huge warehouse. The store is clean, but since its a warehouse doesn't look like a real store (nice looking).
There is ample parking in the front. You can return only within a thirty day period. If you order the book and they send it to you they charge a single delivery fee of $5. They accept all credit cards.
There hours are pretty good, but aren't open to 9 or 10 PM like most super book stores.

PROS: have everything, prices aren't high, good customer service
CONS: no later hours

This building is mostly a warehouse, but there is a shop at the front of the building. The discounts on books and CDs are excellent, but there is no guarantee that they will have what you're looking for. If nothing else, it's always interesting to stop by and browse. You never know what you might find. Prices are awesome, lots of 50% or more discounts. The shop is concrete walls and slate floor, so don't go for the ambiance.
