After my first visit I promptly decided to go for future haircuts to the same address. The hair stylist that took care of me was Mr. Darian Gavin. From finish to start I was offered an excellent service for a really small price. Highly recommend!
Sweet! Great experience, I finally found someone who will do what I ask to my hair, and not just make it up as they go along because of course they know best....
I've also seen countless happy people get out of his chair, some with nice neat haircuts, other with whacky colours, bright red or blue, super versatile. Thank you Darian!!
My best friend and I spent girl time and getting one that was great and affordable was important to us. Zina's Day Spa made that possible! We will definitely be back!
My wife and I both go for haircuts and massage. This a wonderful way to treat each other. I enjoy the pedicures and manicures and frequently give them as presents. It is nice to have it all under one roof and not have to run all other town to get what you want . The staff is professional and anxious to fill your every need.
I love Jenny. She works with me on keeping my hair looking healthy but not super short. She gives me great feedback on ways I can change the color of my hair so it is healthier and lower maintenance as well as gives me recommendations on products. I love her.
It was my first visit to Zina's and I was very impressed. I had the back facial and the staff member was kind, thoughtful and informative. My skin has never felt so good! I will definitely be returning.
This was my second time going to Zinas; I went a year ago and they were good so I decided to return to this spa. The difference was day and night. this time I booked a couples massage; they tried to upsell me a chocolate and champagne package for $210 (the couples massage was 200). I declined the chocolate and chamagne. When I called to confirm on the day, they told me that they called and confirmed with me the day before - I had not received a call nor voice mail from them. When my husband and I got to the Spa, they told me that they tried to call me again to tell me to arrive 45 minutes later instead of when we were scheduled, claiming that the couple ahead of us were late. Again, they never called me. She told me that something was wrong with my phone and I should check on it because they called. When I asked her to call me on my phone from her phone, it rang busy. When I called her, it went thorugh. I had other calls that morning so I believe that they do not have long distance - or cannot call anyone not with a 410 or 443 area code. We waited in a small 'lounge' for an hour and then had our massages. When I went to pay, the woman tried to charge ten dollars extra for the same room. She said that the couples massage is usually done in separate rooms. That is not how it was the last time and I had never heard of a couple massage in separate rooms. If I upgraded to the chocolate and champagne, would it be in two separate rooms? It would be 2 separate massages, if that was the case. I even looked in their brochure and the price was 200 for a couples massage and no mention of separate rooms for couples. The woman told me that they just got new brochures 2 days ago and the price of 200 was a typo- it should have been 210. I will not be going back to that location. There were too many inconstencies, the woman blamed my wireless carrier (Verizon) for not placing her call, but I could get all of my other calls. The separate rooms for couples massages was really the straw that broke the camel's back.
I work at a very very stressful job. I come here once a month. I always look forward to coming here. They atmosphere is so relaxing and the staff is really nice. I always have a great experience. .
I treated myself to a Spa day at Zina's and I had an excellent time. The environment is excellent. Its clean and very relaxing. The staff attended to all of your needs. They were very nice and professional.

I like Zina's a lot. Their location is perfect and near nice gastropubs to have lunch after your treatment. The services were exceptional and the rooms were well kept and cozy. I would definitely return. The staff made me feel very welcome and comfortable.
I got the Wedding Dreams package from Zina's. I cannot say how delightful and relaxing the entire day was. I had been stressing about when and how I was going to do hair, makeup, nails and everything else a bride must do on her special day. Well Zina's answered all that for me. Not only did they do my nails, hair and makeup, but the massage, steam shower, body exfoliation, facial and breakfast and lunch were included were incredible! On top of all that photos of my bridesmaids and I were taken. I cannot think of a better was to spend the time right before my big day. I looked and felt great and Highly recommend Zina's to any bride!
For my 30th birthday, my husband got me the Relaxation Beauty massage package from Zina's. It was just what I needed too. The whole day was incredibly relaxing. I was at Zina's for almost 5 hours and felt so pretty and pampered when I left. My husband picked me up and said I looked like I was glowing right before I completely fell asleep in the car!
Zina's Day Spa is a complete embarrassment to Canton Square!!!! Do not spend your money here!!! Worst haircut/color on earth!!!! Asked for a refund and did not get any type of compensation in return!
I am addicted to Zina's. I get my brows waxed here ever few weeks and just love how they look. The shape of my face has completely changed due to their outstanding waxing. I have also had my hair done here a few times and while I have liked how they did my hair, nothing compares to what they do to my face!
If I could give no stars, I would. Went for a massage using a Groupon which I assumed was for 60 mins as they only offer 60 or 90 mins. Well, Zina must have changed the rules, as it was only 45 mins., plus she charged me $10 more because I wanted a deep tissue.
I did not receive a deep tissue; not sure what it was, as it was most certainly the worst massage I have ever gotten. Maybe he was just out of massage school, but certainly not ready for a spa.
Would not ever return, but not because of the massage so much, but her attitude. Worst business person ever; rude and always right! Can't image how she stays in business.
zena's day spa is terrible, i will never go back. i bought the groupon to use there, and made an appointment for a deep tissue massage with a guy who had been there forever, then when i got there they switched me to someone who hasn't had their license for a year. i am not knocking the rookie, i am just saying that there needs to be communication if there was a mistake with my booking, and there wasn't ANY. then when i inquired about the switch, Zena was completely dismissive of my complaint, saying basically that i could have never used the groupon with one of their experienced massage therapists (even though they all charge the same rate). then she handed me off to their completely rude manager, who was also completely dismissive, never admitted any mistake or lack of communication on their part, told me that it was my responsibility to speak up before i had the massage if it mattered to me so much (contradicting zena), and then told me if i walked out they would charge my credit card anyway, so i had no leg to stand on. this is how they treat their clients!? then she did a real intellectual sarcastic "have a fantastic day," to which i replied "thanks for the sarcasm" and she said "you're welcome." are you kidding me? THIS IS WHY THEY MAKE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR CC NUMBER WHEN YOU MAKE AN APPT!! i have never had to do that with any other salon/spa whatever. zena's sucks and their staff is terrible. if they were nice to you it's probably b/c you are one of their 5 regular customers. you don't stay in business by being smart mouth with your clients. they are certainly never getting any more of my money.

WILL NEVER GO BACK... I went here once before and had a good experience, so I decided to go back again. This time, I had a less than satisfactory experience... My eye brows were not waxed properly - more hair was taken off on one side, one brow was shorter than the other, trim was uneven and stray hairs were not taken off. I tried explaining this to the owner, Zina, but she was extremely rude, demeaning and defensive. She kept insisting that my brows looked fine - a professional salon would offer to fix them or apologize in some manner, rather than insult its customer, as Zina did... I will never go back to Zina's and will tell my friends and family in the area not to go there.

I went there because some of the good reviews & was totally disgusted. It has a nice quality spa atmosphere but the women talk about the customers right behind their backs & the worst thing I saw was the owner telling the employees to use the same spatula for waxing bikini. That is just plan sick.

I came with my friend from israel to get hair cut both of us never received such a wounderful and personnel treatment. There for we decide to get a massage as well. I highly recommend this place for a fun day to spoil your self with your friends. Finelly i found my permanent place. For all girls go have fun you would never regred it.
I recently went to Zina's for a facial and massage and had a great experience! It has been a very stressful few months and just wanted to unwind and have a relaxing afternoon. My massage therapist was amazing I felt very relaxed afterward. The girl who did my facial was also just as wonderful, probably one of the best facial I've ever had. That too was incredibly relaxing. I will definitley make time for another visit

I have done my first Brazilian at Zina's and let me tell you it was amazing! I was so scared but the staff in there is so welcoming, and they talked to me throught out the whole thing and made me feel really comfortable.
Also, for the comment below me, I have went there with my boyfriend on Valentine's Day. We had to wait as well, but the staff was very welcoming and kept apoligizing, which I thought was really nice of them. The weather was horrible due to the snow and it was hard to find parking so it is undertsndable why everyone was running late, and there were a lot of people in the Spa. When there is a holiday and they have sales there are always a lot of people there. We also went there couple of weeks ago and there were not that many people there we had amazing massages and steam room. They offer complementary wine. I love this place and I would recomand it for everyone who wants to relax from their daily routine, and just have some "me" time.

First, my bikini waxer was the worst I've ever had. I know that no one particularly enjoys working "down there," but if it's your job, you have to at least act like you're ok with it. The job was done incompletely, and left a mess all over my clothing. I should have asked for my money back.
Recently, my boyfriend and I went to Zina's for a Valentine's Day couples massage. We arrived on time and had a $30 package of champagne and chocolates pushed on us, and were then shepherded into a tiny room filled with other waiting couples. After waiting there awkwardly for 45 minutes (45 minutes after our massage was to begin), we told the owner that we needed to leave. They blamed the wait on other couples who arrived late, but we saw it as poor management.
I will not be returning, and will happily stick with Spa in the Valley. The drive to Hunt Valley is definitely worth it.

I had purchased 4 gift certif for Mother's day for the ladies in my family. They decided to go all at once and were so so impressed. The place was immac clean, very welcoming and warm.. They loved the environ, services, and messages. Everything ran so smoothly and they had a great lunch in the lounge area.. My wife said that she finally found a place where she wants to come back.. I'm new to the area and was looking for a good manicurist for a while. Then, I decided to give Zina's a try and was pleasantly surprised. This salon is very clean and modern. Viola, the girl who does my nails, is awesome. Zina, the owner, does the best waxing. I had brazilian and brows done and it was THE BEST. I'm so glad I found this salon!
I had a great, honest conversation with Zina, the owner, after sending in a complaint letter. I'm glad that she finally got back to me. I know that running a business and keeping people happy is a difficult endeavor, and I appreciate that Zina took time out to explain the situation.
It turns out that most of the bad feelings on both sides would have been avoided by paying attention to the business policies. I'm glad that Zina explained the spa's side of the story.
I apologize for the harshness of my initial review toward Zina's character. It was wrong, and I'm sorry.

I had my first Brazilian at Zina's and although I'm really pretty shy and modest about those types of things, I felt entirely comfortable here and the process was quick and as painless as possible. I've been there several times since for waxing services - I've seen Carolyn, Zina and Amy and all are equally and highly skilled. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. I've been dying to try some of their other services. Highly recommended!

I went yesterday for my absolute first bikini/brazilian Wax.... such a pleasant Experience! I had Carolyn and she was the best... She talked to me through out and It wasn't bad at all! All construction is complete and the spa is absolutely gorgeous, 3 separate buildings converted to one spa. Gorgeous! This is my new spa !

I've been to this spa a few times. After reading some of the reviews on this site, I thought it was worth investing the money. I wasn't wrong. I had a very good experience and would definitely return once I'm in the Baltimore area again. I got my hair done twice and it looked PERFECT. I couldn't complain about anything. The other time I visited, I got other things and had the same experience. I definitely recommend this place. After reading the comments about Zina, I have to disagree, my experience w/ her was nothing but comfortable.

I got married Labor day weekend and decided to use Zinas day spa for me and my bridal party services. I was very pleased with hair updo for my wedding. ZIna's day spa employees were very pleasant, happy to do anything that i asked. The day of my wedding, the spa was opened very early just for me and my bridal party. We had complimentary breakfast of bagels/cream cheese with coffee. My husband had the complimentary manicure for free....I just got back from our honeymoon and pic proofs reminded me of my beautiful and memorable day. My hair, nails and make-up reminded me of how wonderfully we were treated.. Thumbs up

I looked for a great place to hang out with my girlfriend from Annapolis and used city search to read some reviews on pubs. Since I had an afternoon appt with Zina, I decided 'on my own' , and I stress it out 'on my own' to write about her... I was in the state of shock when started reading the reviews that seemed so be so unfair to me. It seems to me that it is written by the same, very distressed person.... I think i even who this person is.. THis is only could be done only by a person who is totally godless with no heart or soul. It is really a shame... I beleive it is the same person that Zina mistakenly, hired and believed into.. It is very pitiful that someone can have so much hatress within. Let me tell you the truth about ZIna. I know Zina 16 yrs. Zina is a very hard working person. SHe spends lengthly, lond days in her spa, trying to build it. I could easily say she lives there. She is totally great, incredibly educated and a very hard working. I have never met anyone trying so hard to please eveyone... She is incredible with waxing, and i am telling you from my personal experience, b/c i get so many compliments on my eye brows.. She is incredibly artistic and uses her skills in her work... She is so famous for her brazilian wax that I know people even from another part of the city schedule app'ts with her in advance...THe people love working for her, otherwise they would not. IT is as simple as that... SHe never asks anyone to write reviews. If people decide to do so, they do it on their own, from the bottom of their heart.. She never pushes into buying anything and carries in her shelves the top of the line brands. WHen you walk into the spa, you never want to leave, trust me. It is very upscaled, very clean. Zina always gives clients a break, she always gives them the insentives of coming back. All you need is to walk inside there, and you will be pampered from the head to your toes. A lof of her clients are word of mouth clients..

I've been going to Zinas Day Spa for over 5 years and really like this place. Evey time I walke inn, I am greeted with a smile and great attitude. Recently the spa have gone serious renovations and it looks amazing. Very upscaled surrounding gives a grand feeling. At Zina's you could always have some refreshments in case you are hungry. I tried different hair stylists and everyone has done a great job. I also get my facial waxing done here and it's been a great experience as well. All the services are performed in private, immac clean rooms and it makes me feel very comfortable. Two weeks ago, I got a facial and LOVED IT! They do a great job of relaxation and pampering.

Zina's was highly recommended for the brazilian wax. My friends were saying that she is the best one they ever had. It was hesitating for a while and this summer decided to go for it.. IT was great. Very painless and quick.. No redness or even irritation. WIll definatelly come back. I will be coming back regularly, once every 4-5 weeks. Great staff, clean and no hasstle...

I loved the attitude of people as you walk inn. Everyone is in a great mood and it conveyes to you right away. I felt very welcomed as soon as i showed up at the front door. Very personalized service and professional treatment. I would say that Zina's Day Spa far surpasses many others spa. It is very cozy and warm. Once you visit them you will return many times over. The manicures, pedicures, & massages ARE THE BEST. Waxes are very fast and totally painless.

I am very pleased with the treatment that i received at Zina's.. I had a sunday wedding and had a really hard time finding the spa where me, my family and my bridal party could all be accommodated... At Zina's we were pampered from the head to the toes.. We had man/ped, messages (that included complimentary sauna), and of course hair style..The spa is very well maintained, very clean and upscaled.. The staff is accomodating and willing to do anything to make you happy.
My family just moved to Canton Md 2 months ago from LA. I was in a search for a great spa and i was very happy that i found it. My next door neighboor suggested Zina's Day Spa and loved it from the first time i walked into it.. It is so awesome, and so much reminds me of my home.. It is spacious and tastefully decorated.. There are so many services and treatments. I had a great brazilian wax, quick and painless.. Zina ( I think she is the owner) made a great eye brow arch.. CLean, beautiful and very professional...

I have been using Zinas for a few months now, having received mani/pedis, bikini waxing, and a haircut. I am generally pleased with everything. The mani/pedis are some of the best around (I have tried several places around the city)...they last the longest and are very relaxing. One nail tech clipped my cuticles too much (lesson learned...ouch), but that was the only poor experience. The waxing is fantastic...the waxer put me completely at ease and was quick and super sweet. Finally, the haircut I received was exactly what I wanted, and I received a student discount to boot. It came to $25...cheapest I've paid for a good cut in years.
The only downside, as others have said, is that Zina herself can be kind of pushy and definitely seems to butt heads with the staff. I just stick firm to what I want...and the rest of the staff is really a pleasure. The salon is clean and well maintained (unlike the other Zenas in Mt. Vernon...yuck!), the other clientele friendly, and I always look forward to my upcoming appointments.

I recently visited Zina?s Day Spa & Salon in Canton. It was such a relaxing experience. While I was there I was greeted with friendly smiles and received outstanding customer service from everyone on staff. On my visit I received the best haircut and coloring I have ever had, which all my friends absolutely love! I also received some great education on maintaining my hair at home by my stylist. Now I have some new tricks to looking like I just stepped out of a salon, courtesy of Zina?s. I highly recommend coming to Zina?s to receive the hairstyle you?ve been dreaming of.

I have been going to Zina's Day Spa since the time they had first opened. I just love going to this place. Besides being always in a great spirit, the staff is very friendly and pleasant to be arround. They are always on the top of latest techniques in facials, massages and hair. The fun atmosphere and accomodating people with smile on their faces, make me want to come back there all the time. Zina tries to accomodate everyone that walks into her place. She has wide variety of business hours and will open for appointments even on mother's day Sundays. Recently the spa has been renovated with a really expensive decor.. Complimentary to messages, Zina offers to relax in the steam room and provides every client with robe and towels. The lounge area is just beautiful.. I will recommend this place for hair, bikini wax (definatelly the best, painless brazilian in town), manicure/pedicure, message and facial..

I came from NY and have been exposed to tons of places there. Being new here, i was afraid that i would not find a place like i was used living in Manhat. My coworker suggested Zina's Day Spa of Canton.
I loved everything about this spa. THe staff is incredible, treatment exquisite, theyprovide you with wine no matter what type of service you are getting. I was pampered with my spa pedicure.. The message was totally relaxing and revilizing.. My hair updo was amazing.. This is totally upscaled, great place if you want to relax and enjoy yourself... Oh, i almost forgot.. I have never and i mean never had such an incredible, painless Brazilian...ZINA(owner) had done it herself and she is totally awesome... I will definatelly come back.

it is all about service this days, isn't it... I visited this place for the first time with my mother and mother-in- law for mother's day... My Dear husband had treated us with gift certificates to Zina's Day Spa for mother's day... Since i live in Pikesville, I really wasn't aware of this spa.. We love Canton and during one of the dinner's he dissappeared and i guess this is when he got the certificates for us.. He told me that he wasn't sure what type of package to get and the owner of the place was really helpful . At the end, he got each of us a message, spa manicure/pedicure and mini facial... our package also included great crab cake lunch... We really liked the place, environment and people working there... Everything was aimed to make our experience in the spa amazing... The staff was amazing. The place is spacious, clean and pleasant. Our mini facials were very relaxing...

I always have the most incredible time at Zinas Day Spa.My manicures are done so well by a very nice Russian woman named Luba.I also like Zinas brazillians .I have been going there for awhile, since it was recommended to me by my sister.I agree with the other reviews... having tried a facial with that Swedish girl now..all I can say is WOW!!I have died and gone to heaven!!I have a VERY stressful job and that facial just made my day!! What an experience and what a great Spa!I will be your loyal customer forever.Hair,make up,facials,waxing, you name it.I Highly recommend this place to anyone!

I had a facial at Zinas by "Rebecka" who told me she is from Sweden. and I will send everyone I know to go there!!!!I have NEVER had such a great facial and felt so relaxed.It was something else!!!!So much care. Not just some cream slapped on my face but, incredible massage as well!!!I also liked the way "Nicole" did my hair and my eyebrows always look great no matter who does them .The salon is nice and I am always greeted with a smile and happy faces.Thanks Zinas!!!!You're the best!!!
