We went to Dough Roller on Aug 29 and it was bad. It took 45 mins to get waited on. The pizza wasnt good. I really wasnt going to complaint until I got my credit card bill and they charge me 3 time on 2 different days. So I am writing and callin the main office and maybe press charges against them

This was the very worst dining experience Ive ever had. The wait staff was horrendous! They actually were confrontational. I called to complain and the manager wouldn't let my explain what had happened and was arguing with me trying to get his point across. I was so angry that I can't even tell you if the food was good or not, all I know is that I will be writing to corporate and expecting a full refund. What a poor poor excuse....I think they need to invest money into manager training and hiring quality workers....I never knew such a place could even exist! What a shame!

If you know what good pizza tastes like, you will NOT enjoy this excuse for a pizza shop. I don't know about you, but I enjoy authentic, flavorful pizza, and this is not the place to go! Save your money!

I sent a letter to Dough Roller and never got a response. If thats how they treat customers why spend your money there. No one at Dough Roller or the head quarter apologized. This is what I sent.
To whom it may concern,
I went to your dough roller/daytons fried chicken on Thursday May 25, 2009 about 6pm and had an awful experience due to one of your wait staff and manager on duty. When we first arrived she sat us down and got drinks. Server #4549 never got my 3 year old nephew a coloring page, someone had to ask her. I noticed every other child in the restaurant had one. We all ordered. she severed salads, I asked if she could get me one with no onions. She said I'll go and make one, since I detest onions I could smell she only put her hands(I hope her clean hands) all through my salad to pick the onions out. But I could get over this, not the first time I had to deal with laziness. So she brings the 4 other people at our table their meal (fried chicken), expect me and my husband. I thought the first rule in restaurant world is everyone gets served the same time. I am not eating at McDonald's, I am paying a lot more than that for my food. So then she brings out my husbands chicken parmesan. So now I am the only one at the table with nothing to eat, and to add I ordered fried chicken like the other four people at our table. So I look at where our wait staff is she's reading a magazine and the manager is right there next to her (which at the time I had no idea that was the manager). So I had it at that point I ask my husband to tell her cancel my meal, I don't enjoy eating when everyone else has finished. So she comes back doesn't apologize which totally blows me away. Then what made the problem blow up was my 10 year old nephew had no soda. She waits till it's check time and then asks "would you like a refill", she never asked how our food was or if she could get us anything with the meal. So we ask for the manger, he shows up with his arms crossed and leaning to the side. That was a clear sign that were going to have a problem, crossing your arms is a sigh of dominance. He should be showing signs to his employee instead of his guest at the restaurant. You could see he is a mean little arrogant man. So we tell him everything, he continues to cross his arms and say he never saw the magazine, which is a lie. he continued to make excuses for her and the restaurant like were getting the hang of it, your not even filled. I said why don't you pay me to read a magazine, he's says she only make 2 something an hour. Which I feel is so unprofessional, I don't care how much you pay her she agreed to do her job! He doesn't say much, and takes 15% off the bill. I thought the manager is supposed to fix the situation, not make you feel like he's friends with your waitress. The whole situation was awful, If I treated my customers like that I wouldn't have a job. I come to Ocean City twice a year, so If I feel your going to sweep this issue under the rug like were a bunch of angry people (just like your manager made us feel) I will avoid your restaurant. So please I hope you can make me fell like other people don't have to go through a dining experience like mine. The place was at the most 1/4 filled. I think she should have someone who knows how to manage to discuss what the waitress is responsible for and if it's not her first offense fire her and fire the manage ( he couldn't manage his way out of a paper bag). There's allot of hard working honest people who would work their butt off, why have someone who doesn't care about their position. I ate at the other dough rollers and befriended one of the waitresses, so we are not hard to get along with. I don't argue with people on a monthly basis, I just want the high up managers to know what happens in there building when their not there. I hope this is useful and I would like to know what your course of action is if you don't mind. Thanks, Christina

Oh man, we were starving while walking down the boardwalk once. This was the closest place, and there was a long line coming out the door! We decided we'd wait, and I'm glad we did. It moved pretty fast and we were soon seated. People were nice and made the experience pleasant. The pizza was so delicious! We ordered an extra to take with us! We go back every time we go to Ocean City now.

The food here is really good if you are looking for something very casual and filling. I really liked the pancakes here a lot! It's a great place for families for breakfast lunch or dinner.

The Dough Roller offers a variety of food, from pizza (with fresh dough made daily) to over 12 varieties of pancakes at reasonable prices.

We went for breakfast and all 3 of us got the ??Little Roller? which was 2 pancakes, 1 egg and a choice of meat for around $8.00 each. The pancakes are huge! They are some of the best pancakes I have ever had- light and fluffy with a great buttery flavor! The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly. We each got bacon and were pleased to see we got at least 3 huge slices and it also was cooked perfectly!

There are a total of 6 locations so make sure you stop in for some breakfast. Next time I hope to try their pizza!

Before we leave OC, we always go for breakfast at the Dough Roller. Their skillet breakfasts are wonderful, as well as the coffee. Conveniently located off the costal highway, can't go wrong.
