This local small business has been around for almost a century. They have the friendliest customer service and GREAT PRICES! Their selection is diverse and tasteful. Selection of modern and vintage watches. Their pricing and payment plans make buying easy and affordable! Their knowledgeable gemologist will work to find the right piece at the right price :)

Absolutely love Lakeins their pleasant and they'll try their best to give you the best service possible. No matter what u need when u walk in they will take care of your wants or needs.I love jewelry so I'm constantly shopping and mostly at Lakeins might I add because even if what your looking for isn't in stock they will find it or make it.They're just great!

I have been to this business many times since we have moved to Hamilton in 1988. First my wife's wedding ring lost the diamond, we purchased two new rings and she loves them both. In 2009 I went to the store and purchased a heart shape necklace for her that I gave her on our 35th wedding anniversary. In 2010 I purchased a seahorse necklace for her 60th birthday. Christmas of that year I got her another heart shaped necklace. She loves everyone of these items and when I gave her one of them she said ... you got them from my favorite jewlery store. I don't think your business can get a higher recommendation then that! I plan on visiting again in the next few days to get her another Christmas necklace. Your items are high quality and as far as I am concerned resonably prices. See you soon and look forward to doing more business with you in the future as well.

I took two watches in for a simple battery replacement. One was a Movado that had never had the battery replaced and had hardly been worn. Rather than admit they could not do the job properly, they used a tool with teeth to hold the watch and damaged it. They were diffcult and unapologetic about the damage, but told me to get a quote for the repair after my insistance. After taking the time to get the quote they told me that they would not bother responding to me and that they had no intention of rectifying it, telling me, "These things happen".
On a side note, the other watch stopped working 2 days after they had replaced the battery.

For a smaller jewelry business with a private touch, go to Lakein's jewelers. I have purchased many items from Lakein's, and while their selection may be limited compared to larger stores, they can create or order almost anything. I highly recommend this jewelry store, for its' quality work and personable service!
