Unhappy workers that are not compensated well or respected as professionals for their daily contributions come in all races,colors, religions and ethnic groups. Please don't make your bad experiences personal to any group. I have worked in customer service for over 35 years. I know bad customer service and I know bad customers, and believe me, I have seen both. Sam's is owned by Walmart, who is totally against unions. Customer service training for all workers can be negotiated by union leaders and is just one of the perks that would benefit workers as well as customers. Vote for political leaders that support unions.

That not a job that pays well . Customer service can be taught. Write the corporate office, that would help. Crying on a review gets you no where, except to express your personal experience. I have had that experience with the white race and who do you think cares. No one, unless you write to corporate office.I bet there is no motivation for providing good service. I do understand your complaint and would feel disappointed too. You just should have stood your ground. I went there and complaint about going all the way there after calling about tires and couldn't get tire service. I was given a gift card for my inconvenience's. I do care about giving good customer service, because that's what I want to receive. I 'm not a store clerk, but I do work where I may have to handle customer care, and I'm all there giveing my best. It builds personal relations also, you never know when you may run into that person again. Good luck next time.

The service in sams in waldorf is so bad and the uncaring rude employees should all be fired. If you need help the employees (black ones) act like you are inconveniencing them. The ones that are in green vests stand there and talk and will not put there conversations on hold with each other to help you. they are also good at disappearing when they say they are going to get a product or need to assist you. There are a few nice ones The lady at the jewelry counter with red hair is very nice and so is the oriental women that works there .

On Wednesday June 18th, I placed a order for a full sheet Hannah Montana birthday cake with pink icing and writing around the picture. My pick up date was Saturday June 21st @ 10am. I arrived at the store at about 9:50 am on Saturday and when I arrived to the bakery, I was told they could not find my order. The worker NEVER APOLOGIZED and told me she could make me one in about 20 minutes using one of the full sheets baked the night before. I explained in detail how my cake was supposed to be and she disappeared for about 45 minutes to return with two half sheets put together with plain white icing and a small picture of Hannah Montana. She didn't try and design the cake and make it look pretty and insisted that they do prepare colored Hannah Montana cakes--but that they only come in white with a picture in the middle. While standing there trying to understand this nonsense a couple arrives to pick up their Hannah Montana birthday cake and they were accidently given two of the same cakes designed like I requested and the worker told me THEY DON'T DO. She was speechless when asked why is their cake designed if you all don't design those type of cakes? She disappeared and never returned. When I requested a manager and told him my story, not to mention a woman was behind me with the same problem, he told us that he could not give us a cake free but that he would take off 14.00 from the full price for the inconvenience. I am sorry to say but anywhere there are majority Africian American workers and a manager, the service is unprofessional and poor. This is my second and last time being screwed on a day I'm depending on them for a special occasion and they let me down.

If you only pay your people minimum wage, you get employees that don't care about the customer, because you (as the Sam's owner) don't care about them. Customer service here is lacking and their prices are beatable. Selection is fair, but temporary. If you see something here you want, buy it. Tomorrow it may be gone.
