We came here because they had a computer on sale that we wanted. We found it put it in the cart and then shop around the store for bottled water. We did not find any at all. Other then on the shelves that you would need a machine to lift the water down. Finally at checkout we give them are card and they come back and say it is expired. Which is not true at all since the week before we came we renued it. Next we go to the service center where they check the card and they said this is a dead card and shredded it without are permission. Then she says there is no way that we used that card. Then they could not find are purchase of the week before. She said that she would let us purchase are items, then we realized that it was the wrong computer. We had got it under the computer we wanted but, they had put it under the wrong spot. After this we had, had enough so we left.

I frequent this store quite often. My shopping experiences have always been 'OK'. I say this because the lines are always long and only a few registers are open. Some of the cashiers are pleasant and there are others that are not. When you're spending your money you should be treated in a respectable manner but they act as though they're giving you the items for free. I do agree that when help is needed, disappearing acts take place. That's very frustrating especially when the customer service desk is crowded and you have to wait even longer to ask for help. I find the bakery employees appear to simply not want to be there. Additionally, the young lady that works at the photo center finds her cell phone to be more important than the customers. Seriously, I couldn't believe it especially after witnessing it on more than one occasion. If the customers can clearly see what's taking place with the employees, it's beyond me why management hasn't! I totally blame management!!!!

I have never had an issue with Sams club. If you go into the store with good intentions then thats is what you will come out with. Some people, as soon as they see someone of a particular race already expect the worse so that is what you are going to get..As soon as something goes wrong, they fall into that "the customer is always right" mode and feel they can belittle people. You are still dealing with human beings (no matter what color) and you get what you give. For those of you who don't like a certain race and want to blame your bad experience on color, you really need to grow up. You know who you are so don't lie to yourself. I will be at Sam's club again this weekend. I happen to like my experience there.

First off, I can't believe that reviews are being made with such racist comments. I didn't recall Southern MD being so racist, but there you go. (and I'm white!) If you get poor service, focus on that, not the color or ethnicity of the employees. Personally, I have found the people I've dealt with (especially Pinky at the customer desk) to be kind and helpful. Every store and every place of business has it's good eggs and bad eggs. Your job is to report it to the management.

Unhappy workers that are not compensated well or respected as professionals for their daily contributions come in all races,colors, religions and ethnic groups. Please don't make your bad experiences personal to any group. I have worked in customer service for over 35 years. I know bad customer service and I know bad customers, and believe me, I have seen both. Sam's is owned by Walmart, who is totally against unions. Customer service training for all workers can be negotiated by union leaders and is just one of the perks that would benefit workers as well as customers. Vote for political leaders that support unions.

I have had that experience with the white race and who do you think cares. No one, unless you write to corporate office.I bet there is no motivation for providing good service. I do understand your complaint and would feel disappointed too. You just should have stood your ground. I went there and complaint about going all the way there after calling about tires and couldn't get tire service. I was given a gift card for my inconvenience's. I do care about giving good customer service, because that's what I want to receive. I 'm not a store clerk, but I do work where I may have to handle customer care, and I'm all there giveing my best. It builds personal relations also, you never know when you may run into that person again. Good luck next time.

The service in sams in waldorf is so bad and the uncaring rude employees should all be fired. If you need help the employees (black ones) act like you are inconveniencing them. The ones that are in green vests stand there and talk and will not put there conversations on hold with each other to help you. they are also good at disappearing when they say they are going to get a product or need to assist you. There are a few nice ones The lady at the jewelry counter with red hair is very nice and so is the oriental women that works there .

On Wednesday June 18th, I placed a order for a full sheet Hannah Montana birthday cake with pink icing and writing around the picture. My pick up date was Saturday June 21st @ 10am. I arrived at the store at about 9:50 am on Saturday and when I arrived to the bakery, I was told they could not find my order. The worker NEVER APOLOGIZED and told me she could make me one in about 20 minutes using one of the full sheets baked the night before. I explained in detail how my cake was supposed to be and she disappeared for about 45 minutes to return with two half sheets put together with plain white icing and a small picture of Hannah Montana. She didn't try and design the cake and make it look pretty and insisted that they do prepare colored Hannah Montana cakes--but that they only come in white with a picture in the middle. While standing there trying to understand this nonsense a couple arrives to pick up their Hannah Montana birthday cake and they were accidently given two of the same cakes designed like I requested and the worker told me THEY DON'T DO. She was speechless when asked why is their cake designed if you all don't design those type of cakes? She disappeared and never returned. When I requested a manager and told him my story, not to mention a woman was behind me with the same problem, he told us that he could not give us a cake free but that he would take off 14.00 from the full price for the inconvenience. I am sorry to say but anywhere there are majority Africian American workers and a manager, the service is unprofessional and poor. This is my second and last time being screwed on a day I'm depending on them for a special occasion and they let me down.

I have shopped at this store for a few years now. The appearance, quality and availability on items are pretty satisfactory. The problem that I have is with the employee's which reflects the "MANAGER". Most excluding only a few are not professional, very unattentive to customers who need help and appear a little ghetto in appearance and language use, which is a slight turn off. Like the other person said, you get what you pay for and I guess they feel they are underpaid so they will perform underpaid services. I like the older staff because they respect and do their job well.

If you only pay your people minimum wage, you get employees that don't care about the customer, because you (as the Sam's owner) don't care about them. Customer service here is lacking and their prices are beatable. Selection is fair, but temporary. If you see something here you want, buy it. Tomorrow it may be gone.
