Outstanding, do not know when these other people had been there but the wife and I go at least twice a month. Food outstanding, service is the best I have seen in this type of resturant. and the Beers, well I know why they win so many awards.

Would love to see other pubs follow in there foot steps.

I loved the layout & look of this place upon first impression. Sorry to say, that's where it ends. First, the brews, and I'm being kind when I say BREWS, were some of the worst tasting crap ever to hit a glass. I ended up having a bottle of Amstel Light, as they don't sell any non light beers in bottles. I would have killed for a Yingling, but that was not to be, at least not here anyway.

Had the worst cream of crab soup ever and the crab cakes were anything like their advertised "Maryland Crab Cakes." Maybe the chef should visit the eastern shore, hey it's close enough, and learn how to make a REAL CRABCAKE & Cream of Crab Soup for that matter.

I have a feeling this place won't be around very long. If the food sucks, and it does, you're not going to be in business very long. This is truly a job for Chef Ramsey & his Kitchen Nightmares program.

I have gone twice now. The first time I went with a large group, and they seemed a bit overwhelmed with us. I thought maybe the food was "just ok" because of the large number of us, so I went back with my husband and daughter a couple months later to retry. It took us over an hour to get our food, and it wasn't noteworthy when it did come. For the price paid, we most likely will not be going back.

I have eaten here a few times. I'm not a fan of beer so I can't attest to how good those are, but the food is alright. I think that the prices are kind of high, but they frequently send out coupons in the mail that make it a better price. The menu is on the smaller side with traditional selections.

My husband and I found Barley & Hops several years ago when we moved here. At first, we LOVED it. The food beer, and service was GREAT. Over time thought she service has gone down hill, and now the food had too. Their prices have been raised, but nothing else has. SO for now, I'll just have to get beer from somewhere else.

My mother and I love going here to get the Ruebin sandwiches and one of their "home brewed" beers.
The kids love that they can draw on the tables!
The service has always been fast and great.
