Sorry, I have to agree with Elizabeth. Snotty, condescending company. They make no bones about the fact that they "don't compete on price" (read: are the most expensive), so if you ask about prices more than once they get really pissy. Don't get me wrong: The tents are beautiful. But you will pay through the nose for it and get treated like a peasant if you so much as inquire about prices. In ten years I won't remember what my tent looked like, but I will remember how they treated me.

Best Customer Service Ever

This is one of the few companies I've ever used where they really care. I don't know what Elizabeth s is talking about. She must have been looking for a cheap old mildewed tent.
This company had gorgeous immaculate tents! And the owner himself came out the afternoon before my wedding to check on things since it had rained.
Everyone I dealt with there was WONDERFUL!

To me, a test of a good company is its willingness to share useful information with potential customers. That being said, SugarPlum Tent Company has the worst customer service I have ever seen. Not only do they admit to being more expensive than the competition, they also refused to give me an estimate and told me flat-out that my request was not worth their time. But I will let them speak for themselves. Below is the response I got when I wrote to them requesting an estimate for my wedding. If they treat potential customers this rudely, imagine what kind of service you can expect for your special event?

Elizabeth:
This looks like you already got a bid from some company (Capital ?) and perhaps you are just looking for a lower price. Which is certainly understandable as a consumer, but as a company we do not aspire to be the lowest bid. We are significantly more expensive than those general rental companies as we are truly tent and event specialists.
This said, is it really worth our while to "bid" on someone else's list??
