Woods Child Development Ctr

My child has been attending Woods CDC for 2 years now, and we have been very happy with this pre-school. Both the two and three year old programs have been great. The teachers are very caring and truly love the children. The carriculum is very well thought out for each age group providing both age appropriate and challenging material for all students. Each day my daughter comes home with artwork and projects that the children completed in class. I could go on forever about all of the things the school has to offer. There are full day and part day programs, full time child care and kindergarten classes. Age levels range from 2 year olds to kindergarten.

Down sides to Woods CDC are that they do not offer home pick up or curbside pick ups. Which means that I must get all of the kids out of the car to take my daughter to her classroom. The other thing that I can think of is that there is a lottery system set up to enroll students in the school. This could mean spending several hours at the lottery to get your child enrolled, that is only if your number is called. Some parents have spent half of their day at the lottery and all of the classes were filled before their number was called. That is the chance you take to get into a good pre-school. Once your child is enrolled, you are guaranteed a spot in the school for the remainder of the child's preschool education as well as siblings.

PROS: Excellent teachers and carriculum
CONS: No home or curbside pickup, lottery system of enrollment
