Dr. Lewis and his staff are outstanding! The time that they take with each of their patients is hard to find these days. Dr. Lewis is wonderful with rescue dogs and understands the need to give back to the community. I love this place and recommend if you are searching for a vet to try it out. Convenient hours, wonderful staff, and a caring heart make it a win, win, situation.

We took our newly adopted 10 month old cat for his checkup and follow up visits. The vet was attentive and patient with our cat, who wasn't used to being handled much. We were new cat owners and the vet was very helpful with explaining cat behavior and how to be great "pet parents". The staff and the vet interact well with people and pets. I even saw someone bring in a potbelly pig! Sunday hours is a plus.

For a lot of people like myself, our pets are part of our family. Therefore, we want the best care in the world for them. This is exactly what this hospital offers. My cat was injured by a child's bicycle and Academy took great care of her. Naturally, I was very upset and worried, but they helped calm me down and made sure my cat was comfortable. I felt comfortable leaving her overnight here because I knew she would be in good hands.

Academy Animal Hospital offers skillful and compassionate care for all kinds of pets. They have drop in hours and are open both early and late at least once a week (call for hours). The staff are friendly and the vets take time to address all concerns. I wouldn't take my dog and cat anywhere else!
