Target

Located in Germantown's Milestone shopping center, this Target is pretty much like any other Target. It's a big-box store with general merchandise at consistently low prices. But this particular Target is located right next to a stiff competitor that fills essentially the same niche: Walmart.

Although most people seem to prefer the neighboring Walmart over the Target (as evidenced by the fullness of their parking lots and the length of their checkout lines), I'd go with the Target any day of the week. The store itself is cleaner and better kept, the employees are friendlier and more helpful (albeit slightly), and you don't ever hear about Target committing massive abuses against its workers. I'm convinced. Maybe you'll be too.
