We purchased my daughters wedding dress in January 2007 for a September 1, 2007 wedding. We did as they instructed took the dress back in July for alterations. When my daughter went for the fitting after the initial alterations they had taken too much material off the dress, at that time we were told it could be fixed. Again we went back on August 8, 2007 not only did the dress still not fit the underlayment was bunched up the beads were falling off and the dress was still 2 inches to small. We we bought the dress it was to big. Davids Bridals people DO NOT KNOW HOW TO MEASURE!!! No the dress is destroyed, they can not find the same dress to start over again, so here we are 3 weeks from the wedding and my daughter had to pick out another dress, (and on such short notice we had to make sure this dress did not need alot of alterations) The replacement dress though nice is in no way as beautiful as the original dress they DESTROYED!!!! The 2nd dress was less money than the first dress and when I asked to have my account credited for the difference I was told "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" IT DID NOT MATTER TO THE PEOPLE AT THE STORE OR THE STORE MANAGER THAT THIS ENTIRE MESS WAS THEIR MISTAKE. THEY HAVE NOT TRIED TO MAKE ANY OF THIS RIGHT!! ALL THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT IS THEIR MONEY. I am still fighting to get the difference credited to my account. I SINCERELY HOPE NO ONE GOES THERE FOR ANY EVENTS ESPECIALLY A WEDDING!!! THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ALTER EVEN MY DOGS JACKET!! THEY HAVE TAKEN WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY DAUGHTERS LIFE AND RUINED IT.

I spent 25 minutes on hold earlier in the week, then hung up and called back to schedule a Sunday appointment for bridesmaid dresses, however my name was NOT in the book when we arrived there at their registration desk.

The saleswoman was constantly called away, and we were left to sort through racks of tops and bottoms on our own in an attempt to find the right 'mix and match' outfits. The only skirt in the style we wanted was a size 22 - so my two maids had to take turns with it, holding it up with one hand and trying to see how it 'looked' - there were no clothespins or anything to help us.

Styles that were discontinued were still hanging on the racks, too, so that was confusing.

Overall, we helped ourselves and figured it out, but the dressing area was crowded with families of brides sitting on the floor around us, and the sales 'help' was not really available for assistance. Also, am upset the dresses will not be delivered for 3 months when the reason I choose not to go couture was the long wait.

PROS: Low prices, selection.
CONS: Help overwhelmed, rack items not in available sizes or colors for true shop

David's Bridal in Glen Burnie can be a one stop shop. It was very busy when I went in. Robert was excellent. He listened to what I was looking for. He really knows what he is doing. The dresses, prices, selection and service were all great. I would recommend it to anyone.

If you don't care about the name on the label and want a good deal on your wedding gown, this may be the place for you. I tried on hundreds of gowns here, the selection was huge!

Huge selection of gowns and accessories for everyone in your wedding party. Also, staff work on commission so they are extra helpful. Alterations also done on sight for an additional fee.
