Worst place ever, long wait, food was cold, found a piece of hair in my chicken, Cut my lip on the mug which was cracked spoke to the manager on duty Thomas then spoke to Robert the general manager and he was rude and did nothing to make it right stay away
Uncle Julio's has great food but because of this there is usually a long wait. Try the swirl margarita while you it - it is amazing. And the fajitas make for a great dinner.
It's hard to find enjoyable Mexican food in DC, but this is the closest to Tex-Mex around and very tasty! Make sure you try one of their margarita swirls while you're waiting in the bar!
I've gone here over and over again. The service is spectacular and the food is very good, too. I'll agree the first time I tried the sopapillas, I was hooked! Definitely must try them! I'd recommend this place to any mexican food lover.

First and foremost - FROZEN MARGARITAS - get "the swirl!"
Second - Order the guac with your chips!
Third - fajitas are a great standard but if you are in the mood for a gut buster - order Juanita's Platter. Yum!
Finally - finish it off with a helping of Sopapillas. Me encanta las sopapillas!!!!
