I visited this store for the third time and I was treated badly. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt the other two times, some people have bad days or they don't feel good, or are tired. At least they are consistent! I was treated consistently bad all three times. The first time I saw Michelle. She looked busy and seemed like she was in charge, so I was excited that I might get some help and complete the project quickly. She just told me to look around. When I tried to engage her in conversation she didn't try to show me any product or offer any advice. She was honestly rude. Do I dare say discrimination? It may not be discrimination, she may be equally rude to every one.
2nd trip-I went in and no one spoke to me or acknowledged me, I vowed never to go back.
3rd trip-(months later-how quickly we forget) I wanted to just look at marble tile for my fireplace surround and I wanted to buy grout for a small project in my shed. I walked by someone, thought he was on the phone-he was not, and did not acknowledge my presence. I looked all around-at everything, finally an older lady addressed me (she already walked by me more than four times) she commented that she didn't see me standing there and did I need something. I am 5'8 with coppery color hair and hilights, I had on a bright colored shirt. Stevie Wonder could see me standing there. I asked for what I needed, she showed me and that's it.
I would NEVER spend a cent there. If it were free and I only had to buy the spacers, I wouldn't.
I went to Hunt Valley Tile and they went above and beyond customer service. I also went to The Tile Shop in Columbia and that's where I purchased. My first project purchase for a marble foyer cost me around $1400 and I still need to order more tile for two other projects. Floors Etc. is the closest shop to my home and very convenient, but I WILL NEVER step foot in that place again. On a positive note, they have a lot of parking behind the shop and a great selection, I wish I could say more positive things.

Terrible experience with this company. They did a nice job, but left the place a mess, and locked us out. We spent hours cleaning the mess here. The company has been less than responsive. We have to call multiple times and have been dealing with this for months. Now they want us to pay. I would not recommend them to anyone. Worst experience with a contractor by far.

We purchased a carpet install for our basement. Although they had a great selection and the sub-contractors whom installed were good folks, the people at Floors need to keep on top of their customer service skills.
