We typically do not respond to complaints over social media but rather handle them face to face. We have not survived over 40 years in business by providing an inferior product backed by poor customer service. In this instance a design error led to a cabinet that was manufactured wrong. Although it is an unfortunate and infrequent occurrence, mistakes do happen. After one phone call we had the wrong cabinet picked up and had a brand new cabinet manufactured and delivered within 10 business days, which is a quick turnaround for a custom cabinet. When we delivered the replacement cabinet, we had the customer inspect it to make sure it was acceptable. At that point, the customer did not point out any problems with the cabinet or finish. Shortly after delivery of the replacement cabinet the customer called requesting to be financially compensated for the original design error. At no point did she ever mention that the replacement cabinet had any defects. Obviously our response was not sufficient as we received no further communication from her rather she took to the web to disparage the company. After reviewing her comments online, we attempted to follow up to address her new concerns about the replacement cabinet and never received a response. We stand behind the craftsmanship and quality of our product and welcome our customers at anytime to visit our showrooms and tour our manufacturing facilities.

It is apparent that the person posting this on behalf of Hagerstown Kitchens does not have the true facts straight. Or, perhaps has us confused with another disgruntled customer.

To set the record straight, we NEVER had home delivery or pick-up of the cabinet. We NEVER got a call from you that the replacement cabinet was ready to be picked up. We called your company several times over about a two week period just to get some idea of a completion time and could never get any information as to what was going on with the project. Although we had every right to, WE NEVER AT ANY TIME ASK TO BE FINANCIALLY COMPENSATED FOR ANY ERROR.

Since complaints to our sales rep would have been dismissed. We thought it a benefit to your company to speak with your VP of Marketing and voice our complaint about the product and service provided. As a service to others, I have left a review of your company here. NEVER ONCE, did anyone attempt to get in touch with me about the ??comments? I have made online.

It is true you stand behind the craftsmanship and quality of your product? far behind. Feel free to check these facts, our paperwork backs it up ?? unless you have lost it again. Like I said before, real craftsmanship and customer service is a thing of the past.

ORIGINAL REVIEW - Seems to be a pattern with this company that they will tell you whatever you want to hear just to make a sale.

In a nutshell, terrible customer service & craftsmanship (if you want to call it that). We were assured a high quality, custom product. For almost $1,000 no one should have to repair or finish any part of a brand new, custom made vanity!!! I am now in the process of spending more time and money fixing some of their mistakes. We could have gotten a better cabinet at Lowes or Home Depot. Overall, not only a sloppy job but no craftsmanship, high quality, or professionalism at all! Buyer beware.

We used Hagerstown Kitchens recently. They did the original cabinets in our house and we wanted to add one additional cabinet. The service and craftsmanship are unmatched - absolutely superb! However, we were disappointed that they were unable to match our original cabinets. They came very close but not exactly. One of the reasons we chose them initially is because they swore they would be able to match the existing cabinets at any point in the future. We were disappointed that they couldn't follow through.
