I am very good friends with Bobby and Deb and I have NEVER had anything bad come out of the bakery! The eclairs...well, they are just the best in the country hands down! Their breads are to die for!! GO TO GOLL'S when in Havre de Grace, MD.

A Golls danish or cinnamon coffee cake muffin with a steamy hot cup of coffee can start any morning off just right. I recommend Golls to everyone. Not only are the danishes and muffins to die for but my children would say the same about the donuts and cinnamon stick.

Our family has a Christmas morning tradition of breakfast at our home and opening gifts. Goll's apple turnovers are part of this tradition. As always, they were great! The eclairs are a must try!!

My family has been going to Goll's for over 30 years. They have the best chocolate eclairs that I have ever tasted. Their mini pies are to die for! Yes, the bakery is small, but good things come in small packages!

I have loved the chocolate drop cookies since I was in high school and that was over 20 years ago. When I come up to see my family, I am always hoping that they will be open so I can get my favorite cookies. A lot of times they are not, but when they are, I buy ALL that they have available. I hope they never close and never stop making these ultimate cookies.Sharon Zachry-Nance

Golls Bakery has some very good cakes, muffins and pies. I have family that lives around Havre De Grace, Maryland and I pass Golls when I go there, so I always stop in. They have some great carrot cake that I always get when I go there. They also have good apple pies that my kids always enjoy. The Last time I went to visit my family, I went to Golls Bakery and got an apple pie and some fresh baked cookies. They are always really good when I go there, so I'd reccomed trying some when you are in the area.

Goll's is located in historic Havre De Grace, but that's about all it has going for it. The day my husband and I found ourselves in Goll's it wasn't a happy place. We were lured in by the promise of "Maryland Clam Chowder." When we entered the store, I immediately noticed a smell and it wasn't the sort you would think of being in a bakery. When we inquired about the chowder the woman looked at us blankly and then said "oh...that's in the freezer, it's tomato based if you like that." Turned off , we said thanks but no thanks and left.

While in the shop I noticed very little stock at all-- a few donuts and a couple loaves of bread. In Goll's defense, it was nearly closing time, but we were unimpressed and haven't returned.
