I have been going to this studion (and the one in fells point) for about a year now. I can not speak high enough about how great the atmosphere is. The teachers really go above and beyond to make your experience fullfilling and exactly how you want (whether you are a beginner or expert). I tell everyone I know that they should experience yoga at least once in their lives and for those people who think that yoga is 'easy' I challenge you to actually go out and try it. I was running five miles a day when I started and it was still a challenge.
It is a bit expensive at $14 a class but, they have monthly plans or 5 and 10 pass classes to allow you to save a little. Also, they have community classes which are only $6. Give it a shot, I promise you will be surprised ;)
This yoga studio is attractive, welcoming, and offers a wide range of classes. They are as expensive as most other places, charging $15 for a drop-in class and offering various package deals. The great thing about them is they offer "community yoga" sessions twice on Sunday evenings, where the fee is just $5! Their specialty is hot yoga.
Not only do they have amazing instruction, atmosphere and talent but they also offer $6 community classes too. As a student, I could not appreciate this more. I go to their Hot yoga classes and recently started going to rock and roll yoga on mondays (also fun and amazing!). I had knee surgery recently and the instructor worked with me to find positions I could do. TRY IT AND YOU'LL LOVE IT! even my "anti - yoga" friends went and loved it!
Pros: Atmosphere, Instructors, Price, Style
Cons: classes can get crowded, show up early for those community ones!
This is a great Center, with two studios, and now a second Center in Fells Point. Very atmospheric and true to the yoga ethic. Check out their Hot Yoga classes, awesome instruction and a real workout. Strongly recommended
