I love Video Americain. The selection, the decor, the staff - even the clientele - everything seems elegant and serene and so unlike any chain rental experience I've ever had. Dinner and a movie can become takeout and a rental and seem just as romantic and special if the rental is from Video Americain.

If you're not a Netflix addict yet, hie thee over to Video American for a dose of good, pretentious, arty movie watching. This is the kind of place where they have an "auteur" section and where the staff is actually helpful in offering recommendations. Make friends and they might forgive you some late fees, too. Highly recommended.
