They get a ton of donations but send most of the books to recycling without even putting them on the shelves. They've had the same books sitting there for years. It is a shame that they constantly ask for donations and then don't bother to change the stock daily so it's worth your while to come back often. The management is just terrible.

I was in this store on Saturday, March 8, 2008. This used to be a good store, with some good deals to be had. I was shocked at the markups on furniture and housewares....They have got to be kidding. They literally had things priced more than you could go and buy them new! A very plain dresser for instance -- nothing special and in "ok" condition -- marked $150. A broken mirror marked $15. A pyrex measuring cup with all of the red markings practically rubbed off - $4. You can go to Walmart and buy a new one of these for less. Same thing with their cookware.

Many people donate things to Goodwill thinking they are doing something nice. It's pretty surprising that they are turning such a great profit on what we give away - especially since they used to be a place for people to pick up some things at an affordable price. Clothes - maybe. But forget about anything else. You can literally buy a lamp or mirror at Target for less than they are charging.

This Goodwill is one off their superstores, which i think mostly means that it's bigger than most. They get a LOT of donations and I often see expensive clothing in good shape there. The housewares are not so great though if you need to furnish an apartment quickly, it's a good place for the basics.

Furniture seems to be mostly not all that great, though I have seen a few very good things over the years. Dealers and ebay sellers hit this store often so you have to visit frequently to snag the good stuff as it's put out.
