Great food, good prices, authentic atmosphere. We like coming here for the drink specials after a long week at work. Staff is friendly and the location great. Would definitely recommend!

I come here all the time because I know the food is delicious and the service is typically on its best behavior. I either get the fajitas or the enchiladas. Once I got the carne asada and it was cooked to perfection. Would recommend anyone to this place over anywhere else for Mexican. Best in it's class!

I'm not a real lover of Mexican food, but what I order is usually good. They have appetizer specials Monday - Thursday after 7:00 pm. The best Dos Equis XXX beer on draft around. The beers/drinks are on the expensive side $4.50 / draft. We eat there at a minimum of 5-6 times a month. The waitress' in the bar area are friendly, fast and very accommodating. We have only eatten in the restaurant portion of the restaurant.

Although the food is wonderful (especially the Chili Con Queso!), the wait staff is hardly accomidating. When dining at El Azteca, I often feel as though I am bothering the waitresses just by being there. Always packed, El Azteca has great food in a nicely decorated place, although very small. Certainly one to try, but I do not frequent it as much as I would if the service was better.

PROS: great food, nice atmosphere
CONS: Bad service, long waits

A crisp margarita will start things off just right. Then settle in for a good feed on some of the only truly Mexican food served in these parts. The asado de puerco---its pork simmered to fall-apart tenderness in red chile sauce sparked…
