I eat sushi every chance I get, travelling all over four states for work. Tokyo in Salisbury is becoming my favorite, believe it or not (considering I eat sushi in places closer to the source, but hey, Ocean City's not far). It seems to get better every time I visit. Last night (5/12/09) was my third visit, and they blew me away.Kenji (sp?) is a flat out artist, period, end of sentence. He created a delicious tartar appetizer (Mama Tartar, I believe) that had tuna, salmon, those tiny fish eggs, avocado, and was served in a cut-out orange. Yum Yum!And I had two special rolls: Fire Phoenix and Romantic--both excellent and both works of art. You might want to take your digital camera; they're that beautiful. I wish I had taken mine. And I love salmon roe. So I had two servings that Kenji served in a hollowed-out cucumber with some dakon. I've always had the roe served on rice with nori, but I'm telling you, this was the best. Very clean, a little salty, a little fishy. Just what I love. I had (read "had" as had no choice but to) have another couple of those. Man, was it delicious! All in all, an excellent dining experience. Run--don't walk--to the sushi bar at Tokyo! And by the way, the chefs behind me cooking table side were creating some wonderful smells, so the hibachi stuff is probably really good, too.Enjoy! You can thank me later.

The entertainment, consisting of chefs who cook your food right in front of your eyes and do it with flair, is consistently great. I've never had a poor chef.

This isn't a place for a romantic meal as the tables seat 8-10 people in a horseshoe shape, but for a fun dinner with friends or family it can't be beat.

Prices range from $18-30
