Best Friends Fur Ever is my dog's favorite place to go when we are at work.

by Amy C.

Our dog goes to Best Friends at least once a week and he absolutely loves it. When we get to the front entrance, his tail really starts going and I think he knows where he is. Most of the staff greet him with a lot of enthusiasm, mostly the female staff. Our dog prances off with them without a second glance back. He always comes home tired and wet ( he loves the water), which we think is a good thing. I agree it is a little on the pricey side, but what are you going to do about that. My suggestions are they find more water activities for the pups on hot days and have more web cams so we can see more of the outdoor yards. I would also love it if they would give a daily report on him. You know, any issues or concerns they may have seen that day. Overall, if we had the money, our dog would go their everyday b/c we think he loves it.

Best Friends Fur Ever is a pretty good place

by Vanessa W.

My dog goes to Best Friends for overnights and doggie daycare. My experience there has been pretty good. Though they are fairly expensive, I believe that the dogs do get good care there. There are always things that will happen when dogs are playing and that is not always under a person's control. My dog has a great time and loves going there. The staff know him (and he doesn't go there daily) and love him. I would recommend them to others and wouldn't board my dog anywhere else. My dog also comes home thirsty but this is expected after so many hours of play and so many dogs drinking from the water bowls. I have gone on a tour of the facility and I am pleased. Also, every time I check the web cams, the dogs are always playing (except for their nap time 12-2) My only suggestions include more observant watching when the dogs are in their crates or on the long line, playing w/other dogs, and trying to get more water into the dogs! It would be great if they lowered their fees or gave out free days to customers if you are there for so many times. Also, specials/deals should be eligible for dogs who go their for overnights too, not just for the daycare dogs. Thanks Best Friends! Keep up the good work :)

Best Friends Fur Ever is a rip off!!

by Sandi S.

I have been taking my two dogs to best friends for several services over the past 5 months. Several things have happened and I will officially NEVER bring them there again. First off, their rates are ridiculously high! They make you pay for day care in addition to overnight fees, and every time I look on the web cam the little dogs are never playing outside! I seriously don't think they do anything but leave them in cages. Last time I boarded them they drank two bowls of water each when they got home they were so thirsty! Plus one of them had a huge gash on her foot and the other contracted a fungus that resulted in welts all over his body. When I confronted them about these issues, management told me they didn't have an answer and that I could call back the next day to speak to someone else. Horrible customer service!

I've also paid for training and grooming services there. Last time they got groomed they didn't clip their nails or clean out their ears! I'm pretty sure that is standard! The trainers are horrible. They have no idea what they are doing and my dogs learned absolutely nothing. Overall I've spent over $1000 at best friends in the past 5 months and all I have to show for it is two sick, misbehaved pups.

Don't take your dog there!!!!!

Misinformed

by Kelly C.

I know this facility and spoke with the people who know this dog and owner. She is not stating the facts correctly and the dog had the best care possible. He was behind the front desk because he needed special TLC. Dogs at this facility are housed as if they were in their own home. There is 24 hour supervision and any dog who appeared to be ill is immediately taken to their vet or the emergency hospital. This facility has over 5000 satisfied clients. You can go on their web cams and see the facility for yourself. You can go on and see your dogs play!

Do NOT take your dog here!!

by Amy L.

Never take your dog here! My dog has been sick twice in their care and I was never notified in either case. The first time, he was so lethargic he couldn't even get into the truck when we picked him up. The second time he wouldn't eat and was vomiting water everytime he drank. When asked why I wasn't contacted, I was told they didn't think it was a big deal (but they kept him behind the counter with them away from the rest of the dogs). Than they lied to me and told me that I had been contacted when I know I hadn't been! For the safety and well being of your dog - please don't take them here!!
