I have 5 pets that are patients . I have been very satisfied for over 8 years or more. Everyone of my animals get fantastic bedside manners from the Doctors and staff. They feel like family. Everyone is very friendly, loving towards my animals and compassionate about their profession. They truly care about the pets and human families. Prices may not be what some of us like, but it is a business and as a business owner myself, it is expensive to run a business you have to price accordinly. I have never been treated with disrespect and was never made to feel that the Rx and procedures recommended should be taken or go else where. My questions and concerns are addressed and are always answered and they never rush me out. The groomers are the BEST! I wouldn't trust anyone else. My dogs come out beautiful and happy. I lost 2 dogs within a couple of months of each other. They staff showed me and my family so much love and compassion and made the process bareable. I highly recommend them. Try them once and you will be their regular.

The doctors are knowledgable. They are compassionate towards us (when our pet died) and compassionate towards our pets. On couple of occasion's the doctor opted for an over the counter medicine that could be purchased at CVS for less. But I just left out of there pretty mad at what they charged me for and will not be going back. We were returning for the third round of shots for our new dog and it was a different doctor than the other times. He said she had an ear infection, swabed the ear with a q-tip and 2 minutes later came back and said she had a yeast infection in her ear. That was $35 just for that(not including the $30 medication). He put small pieces of paper in her eyes to test her tear ducts which took 2 minutes. That was $27. He didn't tell me any of this was going to be so much. He charged for another office visit - $55. All other vets do not charge for a nother office visit when you go back for followon shots. Six applications of Frontline - 112.00. The Internet has it for $47. When I asked why didn't the office visit cover the swab I was told that other customers don't get that as part of thier office visit so it wouldn't be fair if we did. Other vets give a 10% multiple animal discount, but they only will do that if we bring them in at the same time. I am just really disappointed with them now and won't be going back.

This facility is greatly over priced and performs medical tests procedures that are not needed and also with out your permission. They are out for the almighty dollar and inflate your bill using hidden costs that will raise your bill up. They tell you your pet needs tests and blood work which is not really needed just so you have to pay more money. They are money hungry. When you tell them you do not want that test or feel it is unnecessary they say then to bad go someplace else. They wanted to do teeth cleaning on my dog for $329.00. I got the same teeth cleaning on my dog at Tidewater for $200.00

I have been taking my animals/rescues to Waldorf Animal Clinic for over 20 years. Everyone that is employed there shows so much compassion and they really do care about the animals. Waldorf Animal Clinic is my family's other doctor. Dr T & Dr P: Thank you so much for all that you do

I've been using this clinic for about 12 years and have found the doctors to be wonderfully dedicated, caring and honest. I have one dog that has had major health problems that has cost me thousands of dollars both at this clinic and at specialists that I have been referred to. There is no way you can be talked into having treatment, expensive medications or surgery unless you agree with it. With the internet, there is no excuse for not understanding illnesses, medicines and tests, it only take a minute to research your pets issues and come to an educated decision on what to do about it. My experience is that the doctors recommend the lesser treatment first.

Lionel F. It sounds as though you visited a lot of Vets and if you mentioned the cyst to all of them and they all did biopsies it must have been quite an issue. Perhaps WAC did what YOU wanted and your pet needed. All surgery is painful, but the pain dissipates in a few days. My pet had cruciate repair there. The vets made sure she suffered as little as possible. I take all of my pets there, as do a number of my friends, I have found that they try the least invasive procedures and medications first.

As with most of the Vets around here, WAC seems to push a lot of expensive meds, so I can't fault them for that. I can fault them for pushing unnecessary surgery. Our dog had been to most of the vets around here at one time or another, and each time my wife asked about a cyst on our dog's chest. Every other vet did a biopsy and said it was nothing to worry about. WAC said it was benign, but recommended that we have it removed anyway. My wife folded. The surgery was expensive, but our dog was afraid to walk for a week, and was terrified of being picked up. It even hurt her when she would reach down into her dog dishs. We had to put her bowls up on telephone books so she would stop whining as she ate and drank.

Friends of ours have had similiar experiences with WAC. I thought I should pass the word.

PROS: Friendly
CONS: Expensive Meds (as is typical), Unnecessary Surgery

I would highly recommend Waldorf Animal Clinic. The staff there go out of their way to help and are very compassionate professionals. Several years ago we had an elderly cat who needed thyroid medication, special food, and eventually needed to be put down. The doctors at the clinic were so good to explain everything we needed to know about our options, treatments, medications, etc. We take our current cat there and again, have had nothing but good things to say about it.
