Small restaurant with parking that can be hard to find but so well worth it. Crabs are always plentiful year round. Good salad bar and good kids meal selections. Kids meals are served in a frisbee that they get to take home. Great service and great prices too. A must try!

Wow - the crabs are the greatest. Didn't expect classy and didn't get it! But yum, yum crab cakes are out of this world, sweet potato fries and hush puppies just round out the meal delightfully. The service was very efficient and friendly - a real down home, come as you are place with plenty of good food. The cost is comparable to other restaurants in the Frederick area - other than fast food that is. I'm from Ohio and really look forward to the good fresh crab when I come to Frederick!
Pros: Great food.
Cons: Decor is nothing inside and out!

Not much to speak of...

Mays is nothing much to speak of inside, in fact you might have to put up with a fly or two (might be due to the garbage pails they set right next to your table), but if you can get past the overly-casual atmosphere, the food is good, if a bit pricey. The crab was especially sweet and tender. It does serve an all-you-can-eat buffet, which, if you like that is great and probably reasonable priced, but I could barely stomach being near the people wolfing down food at the table next to me.
