My family has been taking our dogs to Pulaski Veterinary Clinic since it opened in 1972. Dr. Boyd came sometime after the clinic opened, followed by Dr. VanDerveen. Both doctors, along with their staff, have always provided outstanding, compassionate care, not only to our dogs, but to my family as well. I would not think about going anyplace else.

Brought my dogs here to Dr. Jen for over 1 1/2 years; no more. She treated one for an ear infection, trimmed his nails (not asked to do) and came with ear medicine, ear cleaner, ear wax remover the bill was over $200. Told her I only had $100 and she said to "tell he how much money I have when I come so she knows how to treat my dog". Never take them back here again. She should address the illness on hand and not try to build an addition on her patients. She also charged me two office visits per dog, being under 10 lbs they cannot get rabie and distemper shot at the same time. Found another vet who won't charge the second office visit. Need to keep them healthy, but we are in a recession!

Our cat was very sick and close to death. We never got her fixed and due to not mating her she got more sick when she would be in heat. We took her to Pulaski Veterinary Clinic and they said it was possible to save her. They did surgery and restored her back to health. She is still alive to this day for their wonderful help! We have had to put many beloved animals to sleep and we always chose Pulaski Veterinary Clinic. They were always sweet, kind, and understanding when we brought our sick animals. When our pets passed, they sent us a card and an ornament that was either a cat or a dog angel with the pet's name on it. To this day we still us those ornaments. They are highly recommended! I wouldn't choose any other place!

Dr. DeRosa was the only vet out of four that was able to tell us that our 3 Siberians had whip worm and in our opinon that was due to Dundalk Animal Hospital Dr. Foster not telling us the truth about the new Pro-Hart Six injection that was in 2002 and that it did not kill intestinal parisites as Interceptor did and all 3 had gotten whip worm and Dundalk just had us coming back and coming back with NO results!...Last August Dr. DeRosa left Pulaski Vet Clinic to go home to VA, we miss her terribley and will always be thankful to her for saving our little girl Neka who had a Myxosarcoma, and other issues that without Dr. DeRosa we may not have our baby still with us today. Dr. DeRosa is an outstanding doctor and a wonderful person who we will never forget and always love and miss with great sadness. We wish her and her two new babies and husband all the luck in the world.

I can not say enough good about this place. My parrot has been coming here since he was a baby and I have received nothing but the best care! When I purchased my sun conure I took him this vet because Dr. Boyd was one of the only Avian Certified Vets near the Baltimore Metro area. It was with hesiance at first, only because my parrot is like my child. This place aims to please! If you have a pet that needs care this is your place. One tip I would give is to be sure to make your appointment well in advance because they don't have walk ins for parrots. I am not sure about dogs and cats though.

Pulaski is one of the least expensive clinics I have seen in the area--but your money gets the best care! The vets are experienced, knowledgeable, and caring. I have always received very personal attention, appropriate treatment of various conditions, and respect of my desires for my animals. I have brought multiple animals (dogs, cats, and exotics) here for 15 years and have always received excellent care. The vets are talented surgeons (have saved my animals' lives three times!), great diagnosticians, and Dr. Vander Veen takes the best OFA radiographs I have seen from a non-specialist! I wish this kind of clinic could be found in my new city. Highly, highly recommended.

I now take all our animals here. I had a very bad experience with a vet in Dundalk, Md. Drs DeRosa, Boyd, and Venderveen at Pulaski have always helped us. Pulaski Vet Clinic has always been concerned, caring, and available. Dr. DeRosa performed cancer surgery on one of our cats, and called us twice a day to update us on the surgery, and the recovery. I love this vet clinic.

I worked as a veterinary technician for 6 years and I am confident when I say Pulaski is one of the best clinics around. My mastiff tore her ACL several weeks ago. I called numerous clinics and even Virginia Tech trying to find someone to perform her surgery. The best price I was offered for a classic ACL surgery was $1800 and they could not see me for 6 weeks. My dog was in severe pain and I was on a tight budget. Dr. William Boyd was recommended to me and when I called on Monday they fit me in on Wednesday and did the surgery that afternoon. The whole bill was less then $1000 and my dog is healing wonderfully. Thanks to their reasonable prices and great skill I was able to save my dog and not go completely broke doing it. The staff was helpful and kind and I did not have a single complaint with any of the experience. I drove over an hour each way to see them and I would have gone farther. I would not hesitate to take my animal there again.

I have drove several times to the Pulaski Veterinary Clinic from 133 miles away! Well worth the drive. The care was excellent. In no way were unnecessary test/procedures brought up. The prices there are unbeatable. Dr. Wyatt Galbraith treated my dog (who i was fostering at the time) like a part of the family not just a patient!

When our dog Sadie stopped eating along with bad breath, we visited the Eastern Animal Clinic in Essex. After they ran many tests including X-Rays, blood tests and barium tests, we were told they could not find anything wrong. They referred us to the the Animal clinic at the Cromwell Bridge Road clinic where they kept her overnight for ultra sound tests and more X-Rays. We were again told nothing could be found. By this time, we had spent over $3,000 with no results. After discussing it with friends, we were told to try the Pulaski Veterinary Clinic. Dr Angela DeRosa ran a blood test and within twenty minutes we were told that Sadie had Chronic Kidney failure since her potassium level was very high. This was in the first part of June and we were given antibiotics along with instructions how to administer Ringers Lactate 250 ML 3 times a week. Sadie started to feel better for a while but later found it was too late for her to recuperate since we had lost considerable time dealing with the Eastern Animal Hospital in Essex. On July 5, 2008, we had to have Sadie put to sleep since she was becoming very unstable when standing and was completely out of it.Many thanks to the great people at the Pulaski facility who were very friendly and humane when helping us through this loss.It seemed to us that the Eastern Avenue facility was only interested in making a profit and are very unsympathetic to peoples love of their pets.

I took my mothers dog here for a small operation and was pleased with the customer care as well as the support staffs attention to detail. All these factors are a reason I highly recommend going here for pet care.

I used to go to this veterinary clinic before I found a new place. They did provide a good service, although their prices seemed to be a bit high. The doctors however seemed to be well qualified and took good care of your pet. They offered good advice and were always nice and professional. Anyone close to the area should consider Pulaski for their vet needs.
