This store has been ripping off customers for over a hundred years. I needed screens repaired and took them into Clarks to re-screen. Then I went to John S Wilson to buy some new screens. It was actually cheaper to buy new screens from Wilson than to have the old ones repaired at Clarks. And whatever you do, don't ask anyone in the store for help. The customers usually know their merchandise better than the staff does. For good service, drive to Clarksville and shop at Kendals.

Their inventory is limited, but Clark's (as we still call it since this family-owned hardware business was around for decades before their affiliation with Ace) carries items that can't be found at other stores. Staff is not all well-trained and turnover seems high. This is a good store for some basics if you're not particuar about brand and want a quicker in-and-out than you get at the big box stores with less time spent locating the right aisle.
