You've all heard the positives regarding Faby's here before, but the truth is the truth and it bears repeating. The wealth of knowledge these guys possess of cars, vans, and trucks of all kind is only surpassed by their dedication to honest, efficient service!!

They are as HONEST as the day is long and are looking to help in any way they can. The word has long since been out, so you will have to wait for an appointment but you will be ever so glad you did.

My first visit there will not be my last, I can tell you that!

These guys are great. I took a 20 year old car in that needed to have the automatic shift indicator working to pass inspection. They had to dismantle the dashboard, open up the instrument cluster, and then, since parts are no longer available, repair it with heavy duty fish line. Then they had to get it back together, a problem made more difficult by the shrinkage of all the foam stuff GM had put in the padded dash all those years ago. I expected a huge bill but it amounted to 1 1/2 hours. I was floored and extremely impressed. It will be a sad day when these guys no longer work on cars.

I highly recommend Faby Auto Repair for any one looking for an excellent mechanic who has integrity, honestly and offers great rates for his services Here my story. I recently took my 1990 Camry to Bob Faby, the owner of Faby's Auto Repair, to have him install a power steering pump which I thought was leaking. He called me back a few hours later and informed me that there were more problem than the pump that was causing the leak. He advise me that it was not worth spending the money to have it fix. Bob could have easily installed the pump per my instructions . Then inform me of the other problems and charge me again for the additional repairs but he did not. Bob is honest man with a high level of integrity. He places his customer's best interest ahead of his own. Bob is also an excellent mechanic and charges very reasonable rate for first class work. This is the way Bob does business. He was recommend to me by several friends who told me that he gave them similar advice. Bob is a honest man. and he will not sell you some thing that you do not need and take advantage of the situation . He did not even charge me to diagnose my car. I would highly recommend ,without reservation, that you have your car repaired at Faby's.

My father in law has used Fabys for years and recommended them when I had some trouble with my car. I typically do most of the work on my own cars and know my way around most vehicles. After being unable to fix it myself, I took it to them and explained what I had done. They called me the same day and told me what was wrong with it and I told them to go ahead with the repair. I was very surprised when they took the time to explain and show me how they figured out the problem and how to fix it. Since then, I've taken my cars to them several times and they've always done a great job. They'll also work with you if you can't pay for new parts or purchase the parts from somewhere else.

I am always very distrustful of automobile mechanics because I work on my own cars have some knowledge about automobiles. But when my Ford escort was giving me trouble , I could not tell if it was the engine misfiring or the transmission malfunctioning. I asked a couple of my friends if they knew a good and honest mechanic in Bel Air , Maryland. Without hesitation John K. recommended Fabys and said that he got a tune up but replaced the air filter prior to having the work done. He got a check list of the work done and when it came to the air filter, Mr, Faby said it look good and it did not need to be replaced. John k. also said " You can not find a better price". Another story from Skip C. was that he had his Madza truck in their shop for 1 week replacing parts and testing everything . They could not find the problem and did not charge him anything. Skip alsp told me that they fixed thing that others repair shops screwed up. In my case, I went to him and he looked at the engine, rev it , move the spark plug wires and said it is the spark plug wires. I said that they were only 1 1/2 years old and that I check them but did not see a problem. He to change my wires and it would solve the problem. He did not charge for his advice and after replacing the wires with upgraded new wires, the car seems fine. This gentleman, Tom Faby, could have charged me for his diagnosis of the problem or rip me off as I was stumped. But he did not. I would recommend him without reservation to all. Thank you,.

Fabys Auto repair has been servicing our vehicles since we have been driving; 22 years or so. We have always received fair, great service from them. Even when they moved from Delta, PA to Bel Air, MD, we followed them and still have them as our only service station. Thanks to all of you there for jobs well done and thanks for keeping our vehicles safe for us to drive. Dawn & Chris Day

I always great service at Faby's. They do only the work that needs doing and you don't wind up with mysterious new problems. It's really hard to find a good auto repair shop so I hesitate to let even more people know about it. The only downside is that it takes a long time to get an appointment.
