The roof itself appeared to be okay. The problem came with the resale of the house. The roof, which was under warranty, needed to be certified as satisfactory by a licensed roofer. A few shingles needed to be replaced as well. Considering that Cullen installed the roof, they seemed to be the obvious choice.
Despite the word from Mr. Cullen, HIMSELF that he would be out to inspect the roof and call us back, it was weeks later and we did not hear from the Cullen Roofing Company, after countless calls left on his answering machine.
We finally explained that we would file a complaint unless he contacted us. He did. He was dismissive and gave us little time. I would NOT recommend this company.

I contacted this business for an estimate for a roof repair. A few of my shingles blew off of the roof. This company sent two representatives out to take a look at the problem and quoted me a price of five hundred dollars to repair the problem. It took the over two days to respond out to my house and that price was very high. I did not agree for them to do the job and turned them down after the high price and the slow time getting back to me.

It took Cullen Roofing several weeks to give us an estimate after our initial call and another couple of weeks before they started work. I felt like I had to pry information out of them; the boss did not seem to be interested in conversation about the job. The workers were very friendly and polite to me but they used a lot of loud, foul language with each other all day and played a radio at very loud volume and left a lot of debris all over the yard until the final cleanup at the end. The job itself was acceptable but not great. Would not recommend.
Update May, 2008: The roof that Cullen put on in 2005 has two leaks and they have not responded to my requests to come out and look at the job. Apparently they do not stand by their work. I wish I'd known that before I contracted with them.
