My vehicle was illegally towed on Thursday July 19, 2018. I went to visit an elderly uncle as a guest. I parked went inside the parking lot, then went inside the house to retrieve the visitor guest parking pass & 4 mins later LITERALLY 4 mins later my car was gone. I was not allotted ANY time to retrieve the pass and place it inside the window for display. When I contacted the company to inquire about the vehicle the agent was very rude, she was making up excuses for why the vehicle was towed. I went to obtain the vehicle and was charged $300 for nothing. Friday, I spoke with the apartment complex manager from which the vehicle was towed & upon video footage then speaking with the towing company they agreed to refund $150 with NO EXPLANATION for why the extra $150 would not be returned. I've been contacting the company ever since Friday, which is now Monday July 23, 2018 and have been unable to get a straight answer for why the remainder of my money has not been returned.

So this feels like group therapy. I am another person whose car was towed while I was right there. Before he even backed up and put his tentacles under the vehicle, I was at the car. He refused to stop because his profit was at stake. He lied several times, but it doesn't matter because they got the car and my money. I am furious and powerless - very frustrating and dangerous state. The only good news is that the Maryland Legislature passed Senate Bill 401 this past session. Starting 10/1, these criminals will be limited to charging a $250 towing fee.

NO STARS.....IT REQUIRED GIVING THEM ONE....THEY GET ZERO.

This company does not assume responsibility for property damage. Several threats were made when trying to calmly speak to them. License numbers are not provided for Anne Arundel County. Private contract or not, they have to be licensed in Anne Arundel County to remove property from within county lines.
Suit will be filed after being threatened personally and hearing death threats towards another unfortunate victim of circumstances.

Total Scam - posted a sign on a empty building then waited with 3 trucks for the parking lot to fill from the surrounding business and then started towing vehicles. When confronted one of Quick Responses drivers acted as if he had a gun in his belt and said he would kill anyone that interfered. Police were called but let the guy go - I guess its not illegal to threaten people with bodily harm. Wrong move guys - we'll be watching for you from now on.

Very sad, I think people are missing something here. Has anyone ever looked up Mr. Gordon Kelly?I encourage you to also look up(unlike Quick Response)REPUTABLE Towing companies in Baltimore...call them. This is such a tragedy in itself, let alone add Gordon Kelly's GREED into the mix.Call any reputable towing company while in that neighborhood and ask them if they will tow you at that hour.Chances are they will tell you, take a cab and get out of there and we will Tow your Car when the sun comes up.Gordon Kelly said it himself to the news,"Andy went on a call that would have earned the company $50, which would have put $15 in Andy's pocket."Anyone find something odd about that?! because I smell GREED.It was very respectable, all of the Respectable tow companies all over Baltimore who feel affected by this and showing their respects Sunday evening, it's nice to see citizens come together like this.As far as Mr.Kelly, Sunday was free advertising for your business, shame on you.The reason this has never happened before is because REPUTABLE companies don't do business like Gordon Kelly, sending their drivers into neighborhoods like that at that hour. In closing, BCPD has put up a $2000 reward for information leading to an arrest for Andy's killer-Mr.Kelly,Have you put up any money to catch the person who killed your employee since you are so respectable?

My husbands car was towed today by Quick Response off of a library parking lot in baltimore city. My husband was there taking my daughter to a library reading group. A neighboring business who also shares the lot with them has one side, and my husband parked where there was NOT a sign!! After checking in with the neighboring business and the library, the tow driver only checked the business to see who's car it was, it was not called in! My husband was informed that he could pay a drop fee of $150, but would not wait until my husband ran to the bank machine to get the money out. Took off without even waiting. The police were called, and they just drove by didn't even stop and see what was going on.

Quick Response Towing Inc. is a criminal organization fronted by Klein Enterprises located in Baltimore. Mr. Bill Berman is the person you need to contact if your car is illegally towed from "his" shopping centers.

If you were one of dozens of people who had their cars illegally towed after attending the MD/Navy game this past Monday...Bill Berman "Billy" is the SOB you need to contact...Even employees at this shopping center have their cars routinely "boosted" by this criminal.

Here is his phone number and e-mail to let him know what you think of his business practices. What a bunch of crooks. Time to shut these folks down....

Quick Response Towing, Inc. towed my vehicle from the shopping center parking lot across the street from the Glen Burnie Light Rail station. I parked my car there so as to be able to go to the Navy - Maryland football game on 9/6/2010. Upon returning to the lot, my car was no longer there along with several other individuals who were also attacked with the same business practices. We all took a cab to the towing company's business premises to retrieve our vehicle. Two cabs were waiting in the parking lot as if to anticipate an influx of people needing a ride from the parking lot to the towing company, which was over 8 miles away (going from Anne Arundel, through Baltimore County, to Baltimore City). How would these cab drivers know to wait in the parking lot on Labor Day Monday night?!? Scam maybe? Once at Quick Response, I, along with the other effected citizens, was confronted with some of the most appalling human behavior I have ever witnessed. The fee was $300.00. $300.00 for a tow? Really? Is that the standard rate given the circumstances? Why not charge $5,000 for a cheeseburger too? The only accepted form of payment was cash. The employees threatened us with vulgarity, threats of impounding our cars further with increased fees, and even stepped out to physically fight a customer. As stated before, despicable. During my short time with witnessing this towing company, they made $300.00 off of 4 different individuals, thus, giving them $1,200 profit in less than 30 minutes. The number of people effected prior to and before my activity with this company is clearly indeterminable. Having read further into this situation, it is apparent that I was not the first to be victim to such an atrocity; rather, numerous complaints have been placed against this business. It is my fear that this company will continue to thrive off of such illegalities, all the while harming innocent civilians. I hope to bring an end to this scheme through all lawful means available.

Disrespectful tow truck driver, not only did he tell me to get out the f**kin car, but he still backed the truck up to my car
hooked it up and raised it in the air with me in the car.
When the police came they knew each other, the police even
knew their phone number. The police didn't even want to hear my side just told me to get out of vehicle so it can be towed.
They didn't even want to hear what witnesses had to say.

I parked my car, walked accross the street to a proprietor's business. They had a sign posted not to park accross the street or you would be towed. Having read that sign, I went back to move my car. But the tow truck driver was camped out on the other side of this parking lot so by the time I got to my car he already had it up off the ground. I told him I was there to move it but he said it was already impounded. For $150.00 CASH ONLY he would release it. I told him I didn't has enough cash and he right away pointed me to an ATM in the lot owners business. It was a drill they seemed to have down pat. So my 2-5 minute stay cost me $150.00 plus $3.00 in ATM fees.

Late last night they towed 2 cars from my drive next to my house. The driver stated the cars were illegally parked in a public alley! The property is privately owned and I have had an agreement for the last 20 years with the property owner allowing us to park in the drive. The property owner was truly shocked when contacted. He couldnt believe they did this! The city police reponded to our call for assistance at the "rapid response" office. They were also ignorant as to what was happening. The person at the office was a joke.

9-3-09. One of two of "QUICK RESPONSE'"s tow truck drivers crossed the double yellow line today to pass me on Fleet St. today between stop signs an attempt to catch up to his fellow driver who was in front of me. When my car blocked him from forcing his tow truck (as well as the Dodge minivan he was towing) in front of me, he stopped while blocking both lanes of traffic, got out of his truck, and asked me "if I had a problem?", told me " get the F out of the car" and that I "was F'n' slowing down in front of him on purpose". After quickly telling him that I was driving slow because of the STOP SIGNS every few hundred feet, he continued to yell and then punched the window of my car and walked back up the street. When I (yelling out the window) for the name of his company, his fellow driver approached my car and told me "It doesn't matter, you're F'n with the wrong people". I'm honestly not one to complain, or even write an online review for that matter, but this was one of the most ridiculous situations I have been involved in. One in which someone/(in turn) a company should clearly be held accountable. Yes, I called the company and they are apparently calling me tomorrow. But still...ridiculous.

I too went to a Ravens game on Monday night and I parked in this dreaded parking lot. I totally understand that there are places that you are not suppose to park, but never in a million years did I think that I couldn't park in a shopping center parking lot. The sign is very misleading, it looks like they are refering to the McDonalds. Not the ENTIRE parking lot. It's a very sneaky program they got going on. Once I got back to the parking lot and realized my car was gone, one of there tow truck losers was there towing another person and ever so kindly told me what had happend. He was practically laughing at me about it, THE Loser. So here I am in a parking lot with my son, no car and no phone, luckily a friend showed up randomly and took me home. It's a shame that they do this to people and seem to be getting away with it, I never thought parking my car in a shopping center would be so expensive. It's really pathetic they get there money from innocent people going to a football game with there kid! I will never step foot in that parking lot again, they had my car for 2 hours and it costed me $300.00! So I guess we should all be careful when we go shopping from now on, make sure you keep an eye on your car cause there are lowlifes like this company lurking around!

Our car was towed after the Ravens game as well. My 7 year old child and my husband had to stand in that lot to wait for a ride. $300.00 for a family night! We've called the supposed to be "owner" of the lot who contracted the towing company. He basicly said "too bad". A GIANT grocery employee's car was towed as well. These people has no conscience whatsoever. Karma is a bit*h. I know they won't get away with this. This won't last much longer.

This towing company is a total scam, they charged me an exorbitant amount of money for the towing of my car after an accident after which it was not in drive-able condition, all in an attempt to have me sign over the title to them so they could sell it for parts. The manager lies and avoids answering the phone like its his job, this is one deviantly run "business", term "business" used very loosely.

These are the worst companies to deal with. Supposedly they tow cars in areas of baltimore city, but my experience was horrible. First of all, I am blaming not only the towing company for towing my car (which are these people), but baltimore city itself. If a city is going to post a sign up for individuals not to park in a certain area...I would think they would want to make the sign bigger. Of course not....why should they, that is how they make their money. It is also ridiculous how they charge $300 for using dollies, because a car is park a certain way. The way one parks doesn't and shouldn't have anything to do with the rates. If they have to use their stupid dollies because my car was parked a certain way, that is their fault, because in anyone's mind, they don't expect to get towed and if they do believe me, we will all parked facing outward so that we can make their jobs easier.....THis IS RIDICULOUS and sounds stupid. So now that I have gotten out my fustration, I am going to tell you what happened. I went for a job interview on light street (which was really only for 30 mins) because I already had an interview before this one and by the time I came out of the interview my car was towed. I went into dominos because it was their parking lot and one of the employees was telling me that they tow cars if the customer is not coming into dominos to pick up an order. So I called the tow people and come to find out, I had to pay $300 to get my car back. The funny thing is the "so called" sign saying we can't park there was covered by a little shrub, which is why I couldn't see the sign in the first place and yes I have a picture! And this whole thing about paying in cash needs to stop because if one charges their card, who cares they will get their money one way or another (we are not all like Bill Gates walking around with $300 in our pockets). I am not done with this company yet and most of all this needs to stop and can we have BIGGER SIGNS!

Please do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this business. After they could not locate my vehicle for two hours after it was towed, I became a bit upset as you could imagine. The owner was unbelievable scummy. He told me his girlfriend was going to beat me up, and continually threatened my safety - when all I wanted to do was 1) find my vehicle and 2) retrieve it. The lies poured out of his mouth as he could not locate my vehicle. I finally called the police because I felt totally unsafe. After I called the police he started telling me that he wouldn't talk to me because I was intoxicated and I "reeked of alcohol". I hadn't even had a drink! I have never encountered such a low-life, borderline insane business owner in my life and I hope to help others avoid this awful, dishonest business in the future. Please, if you value your safety at all - avoid this place. Clearly they will threaten you and potentially injure you. I have no idea what would have happened if I hadn't called the police. Unfortunately, he was not arrested, but I was able to retrieve my vehicle and get far away from that place!

Scam artists. These are the folks who sit in business restricted lots and wait for a person to get out of their car and then throw tow gear on the car before the person is in the building so they can:
a) claim the person was not in the business in question
b) attempt to steal upwards of $300 from you to get your car back.

They are the worst kind of lowlife scumbags and will be put out of business for their shenanigans eventually. Do NOT EVER call them, they will overcharge you, insult you and threaten your safety, and then they will intentionally damage your car taking their gear off. This is a known issue for anybody who is downtown a lot of the time but for other folks they might not know.
The real tragedy is the City Police refuse to do anything about it as it's a civil matter, in fact it's well known downtown cops get kickbacks for allowing them to do as they please, several have admitted this.
If you are caught in one of their illegal scams, know your rights and document everything, thankfully, their drivers are not very smart and do not know the laws, so they WILL make mistakes allowing you to win in small claims court.

Quick Response show's up at accident scenes and sells a tow , the tow driver stated if the police tow the vehicle it will go to the Baltimore Impound . Wow that sound terrible , off goes my car to their lot. Next day my Insurance Company calls for the charges , that will $605.00. My Claims Rep calls and inquires about the charges , advised they had my car removed within 15 minutes nothing complicated (Officer on the scene) , so here you go . $30 mileage charge (accident 3 miles from their office)$150 for tow , $225 for labor? , $75 admin fee , $125 for clean up (no debri in the rd) Why does Balt City Police allow this , impound fee $225

This Company steals cars for a profit. They tell you they tow your car it did'nt have tags on it, knowing they took them off themselves. They should be locked-up for the things that they do. And the they charge you for stealing your car. They will reap what the sow.
