I have been going to Dr. T for over 6 years. He has always taken tons of time with my dog (Bouvier des Flanders) and has made some great calls. I first started going to Light Street when my dog, who was then a puppy, had a gastrointestinal issue that 3 other vets couldn't solve. My puppy was not gaining weight and it was scary. Within a week, Dr. T had the problem solved and my dog went on to become a Champion. Additionally, a couple of years ago, my dog injured his back leg. Because Dr. T said he wasn't an expert at orthopedics, he referred me to a vet in Annapolis who was and who did an outstanding job at repairing my dogs knee. I like the fact that Dr. T knows enough to refer out to an expert when necessary. I really feel like he is a great vet. His pricing is fair as well. It would be great if the office was a bit cleaner...but other than that we will keep driving all the way down from Towson!

After taking my dog there for boarding he came back to me a whole different dog. What exactly do they do there.
Do they really take them for the walks they are supposed too. Are they really given all the comforts of home like you would think. It took me a week to get my dog back to it's comfort zone. That is my last boarding experience there.

first visit. condemned my gentle friend of twenty years to death without laying a finger, NOT ONE finger in examination upon him.
i will never forgive myself for being so emotionally distraught as to allow this to happen that day.
one star is too many for this vet-Mengele.

My husband and I have been taking our dogs and cats to Dr. T for years. He is kind, compassionate and an excellent doctor! We have referred many friends to Light Street Animal Hospital and they have experienced what we have - a relief to find a vet who is not only exceedingly competent - he cares about you - the individual - and the health of your pet. Dr. T is the best!

So I started taking my pets to Lt St after I felt my vet was too expensive. While I liked the ease of getting appts, that was about all I liked. The supposed vet Trujillo misdiagnosed my animal with a very dangerous illness and more importantly had me start treating my pet with dangerous medicine. I questioned the diagnostic test he chose to use, but he insisted my pet had what he said it was based on one sole blood test. Needless to say, I did not return to this vet clinic as I think Trujillo is a dangerous practitioner and is more interested in the almighty buck than the care of the pets. My warning...just be careful with this guy. If I hadn't gone for a second opinion, my pet would have been dead by now.

After a horrible experience at Falls Rd, we decided to go to Light St. They were great, prices very reasonable, and the vet is very friendly(takes the time to get to know you). They have been our vets now for almost eleven years. We live all the way on the other side of town up off I-83, but make the drive to get great service for are beloved pets. I can say I give them "Two Thumbs Up".

After a horrible experience at CityPets and being thoroughly ripped off for medication and not receiving enough of that medication from the Vet that precribed the treatment regimine (read my comments under CityPets), Dr. T was a breath of fresh air. He is knowledgeable about cats and extremely honest and easy to speak to. I have been searching for a good Vet and if you want to read the reason, just look at my CityPets blog. I have been going to Light Street for 5 years now. Dr. T is amazing! You can tell he and his staff are truly committed to your pets health, are honest and very reasonably priced. I have never felt like they recommend unnecessary treatments or scam customers the way a lot of vets seem to. The staff and customers at Light Street are very nice and my dogs and I never mind going there!

I highly recommend Dr. T. He is a superb small animal vet. He has diagnosed and treated my diabetic cat over the last two years. His manner with the animals (and they're stressed owners) is great. He gives very practical advice and his prices are very reasonable.

Dr. John is the best Vet you could ever get for your pet. He is down to earth and great with animals. He has a special bond will the animals he touches. In his hands they melt and relax. I i recommend him for any of your pets needs he is not over expense either

We have been taking our pets to Dr.T for a very long time and I agree with the other families that there is no other vet like Dr. T. He is the most compassionate vet I have ever taken my babies to. But most of all he will call you back himself if you have a question or concern about your baby (ies). Most other vets have their staff return the call is what other people tell me about their vets. So naturally I refer them right to Dr. T.
