being sent their on recommendation of my neurologist I was seen by specialists in neurological disorders.
they tested me, administered several tests and came to a conclusion of unknown.

I still have convulsions and do not have epilepsy, leukiodystrophy or, Multiple sclerosis, even though, I had been mis diagnosed all my life.
After being seen by Dr. Gerald Raymond at the Neurology department his statement was of "unknown."
Doctors are baffled at my case and had me put on several anti seizure medications which did not work.

I worked at this hospital after receiving my undergraduate and the experience was so amazing that I went on to pursue a graduate degree in Experimental Neuropsychology. The doctors, nurses, and support staff at this hospital at the best I've ever encountered. Although I don't wish to be a brain injury patient, I would want to be here at this facility if I required this degree of medical help. I have heard only words of praise for this hospital from patients I met while doing my research. The specialists are worth seeking out and any distance required to travel would be well worth it!

I did research here during my undergraduate education. Kennedy Krieger Institute is an excellent place to treat any brain disabilities or injuries. They have great doctors and a caring staff to take care of their patients. They are also constantly doing cutting-edge research to learn more about how to treat various types of mental disorders. They are on the forefront for treatment technology.

As a brain injury survivor, who stayed at Kennedy Krieger Institute in 1990, I can say with confidence that this is quite possibly the best adolescent rehabilitive health hospital in the area. Not only is it linked to Johns Hopkins Hospital, with easy access to healthcare treatment, but it is staffed with caring, outgoing professionals who not only care about their patients, but also give them the strength and confidence to live happy and healthy lives.
