My wife and I stay here in the Winter when we come by ourselves. In the summer when we are with the entire big family we stay at the Coronet Apartments on the boardwalk. Both places are wonderful. We love Ocean City and look forward to coming all year. The Princess Royale is a perfect place to stay.

We had a great time at the Princess Royale when we stayed. We did a long weekend in the Spring and the price was great for being right at the beach. The indoor pool area is really nice with arcade games and tables to eat at. The room was a nice size suite with a kitchenette and small living room. The balcony was small -- only room for 2 people. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is good if you don't want to be in the crowded boardwalk area of OC

With two teenage sons, we stayed at the Princess Royale in an atrium-side, typical hotel room, that overlooked the large multi-story indoor pool and recreation area equipped with ping pong & pool tables, and refreshment stand. We could see families below on the ground floor with adjoining rooms, flow in groups from indoor pool, to outdoor pool, to the beach right outside. The atrium accommodations are great in bad weather. Located well above the OC boardwalk, be prepared to drive a bit to the downtown areas.

We went to Ocean City this summer.... and stayed at Princess Royale.. it was a really good experience. their customer service was really really good. the prices were high, but they offered excellent customer service. the location of the hotel was right infront of the beach. they had all sorts of recreations inside the hotel, like a swimming pool, bar, theatre, etc. it was fun stayin there!!

Its far from the Boardwalk, but it's a beachfront hotel with a huge indoor swimming pool.
There 3 jacuzzis (2 outdoor and one indoor). The saunas hardly work, so if that is a necessity ask if it works before you book a room.
We werent allowed to take the towels from the pool up to our rooms. They are really picky about this.
They have good rooms, but the televisions can be bigger. Not that you go to the beach to watch TV.
The customer service is good. They have free and ample parking.
Until the Hilton Ocean City opens up in May 2006, this is the best place in OC.
PROS: ample parking, good customer service
CONS: small TVs, towel issue, far from Boardwalk
