The worst shopping experience.IN SHORT- THE STORE IS A MESS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS POOR (INCLUDING OWNER). BUISSNESS PRACTICES ARE UNETHICAL. FULL DETAILS READ ON:My friend and I were buying multiple costumes (for group of people). An employee (later found out it was the owner). yelled (and I mean yelled) at my friend about how many costumes she was holding saying she could only try on three at a time and she needed to put the other 2 down. She was planning on buying everything she was holding. I had found a costume in the clearance section (priced at 5.99) One of the employees had helped me- she kept saying what a great costume for 5.99. I said yeah are you sure its only 5.99- she said it had been in the clearance section for days and the price was correct. I waited in a long long line and when I got to the register to pay - she rang up two items and then got to the costume and started to ring it up but then was interrupted by "the manager" who said the price was wrong and the costume was not on sale. Rather it was over a hundred dollars. I said it was in the sale section and I checked with 2 employees about it before I got in line. She huffed and puffed and said she would check with the owner. While she was checking the girl at the counter rang up my other items- I had already handed her my credit card. When the manger came back she said the owner said the costume is $100 and then said very rudely I cant believe you thought you would get away with only paying 5.99"-Like I was trying to get away with something. This is front of a long line of people. I said well I am not going to get any of the items but the manager-pointed to the all sales are final sign and handed me the receipt- they had completed the sale. I was shocked. In the end I went to talk to the owner. She was unprofessional and rude and told me that I was "crazy" to think that costume was 5.99. Even though I went to her about getting my money back for the other items she just would not stop about the costume. When I told her that I had asked about the price she wanted to know who I asked so she could "fire them The owner asked me to show her where the costume was when I showed her she said its very obvious the costume didnt belong here and that I was being ridiculous- so I showed her 4 more similar costumes she said they were all in the wrong area. I tried to walk away but she proceeded to yell about wanting to know who the employee was that had told me the wrong price-Which is absurd since it was also labeled wrong. I told her I was not going to get someone in trouble. I was horrified I have never been treated like that. She continued to follow me around the store telling me she wanted me to point out the employee so she could fire her- I told her that I was not going to point anyone out and that I was just looking for my friend so I would leave. She kept following me- and telling me she had been in business for 60 years and that if I had a problem I should call the BBB. I said ok she then replied you dont have a leg to stand on we are a small business. She then continued to ask about the employee who had told me the wrong price. At this point I was practically running from her. I finally decided I needed to just leave the store. She continued to follow me.I was about one step away from the exit when she said asked what kind of costume I was looking for- I said that I was not going to purchase a costume anymore. In response she said then I never want you to come back. I mean at this point the only way I would go back in that store is if someone were dragging me. As I walked out she was yelling to the manager I cant believe she wanted me to sell her this costume for 5.99-I told her never to come back". In summary they mislabeled multiple items and then treated me like a criminal when I tried to inquire about the discrepancy. They refused to refund me for the other items. And they owner was the biggest problem of all.

i have been volunteering here for a colupe of years and this year i just starting working here this year and its great people and great costumers..overall its a healty envorment to be in

i have been here over a hundread times (for dance shoes also the best )i will say the prices are a little high but its worth it . around this time of the season she sells costumes . ( ladies plenty of sexy costumes) and thousands of rentals . I REALLY sugest you come here today or some time ,but come soon because the stuff wont be here any more.

Artistic Dance Fashions stocks pretty much everything you need for ballet, tap, jazz and other dancing. They also have a big line of Halloween type costumes to buy and to rent, including masks, fake noses, clown shoes, wigs, etc. They are MOBBED in the weeks before Halloween so you should plan to shop early or figure out which times of day are less crazy. Prices are not cheap but the selection is great.
