If I could give NO stars, I would. This place was horrid.

Firstly, they claim to be a salon for bridal and formal parties (so large groups of people), but they only have 2 nail stations. My friend got gift cards from her boyfriend for her and 2 friends to go and get manis and pedis. He told them what he wanted and they were to put the correct amount on each gift card to cover the expenses.

We had to wait over a month to get an appt. after they gave my friend a hard time about having 3 people as they only had 2 stations and finally said they could do it with the earliest appt at 10 am. We got there and they knew we were new customers (it says it on their schedules) and also knew we had gift cards even though we didn't mention that to them when we got there.

I feel like they took advantage of this as they pushed us to get the Shellac nail paint and never informed us that it was $12 dollars more even when we asked what the difference was between the two (very pushy about getting that nail paint) and when we did find out (after my one friend had already gotten it), they shrugged it off and said "well, it's not that much more considering you have gift cards".

Then when we went to check out, we found out that it was much more expensive than what was put on the gift cards because when my friend my the appts they NEVER told us that there were 3 different types of pedicures and put us down for the $45 pedicure because (as the manager said) "when most people call and ask for a pedicure, that's what they want and so the girls just put that down unless you specify".

They KNEW we were new customers and therefore would not know this and so I believe they did this just expecting us to pay (not to mention that the gift cards were for $45 and wouldn't have been enough for the mani & express pedi ($56) anyway, which again was their fault as he told them to put down whatever was needed to cover the service) because we had gift cards.

Also, they have two different fees depending on the experience of the person doing the work. We were not informed of this either and neither did we choose who did our nails, but we were charged the higher price for the "more experienced" workers--which still was the worst paint job I have ever had.

Lastly, when we did complain about this, the woman at the desk was extremely rude to us and when she finally got the manager, she was completely unprofessional. She walked right up to us and said "I'm not arguing with you, but I heard Michelle tell you the Shellac is $12 more". That was the first thing she said to us!

Then she tried to guilt us into paying the extra $40 per person because she claimed if she discounted the service, then she would have to dock the girls pay and it wasn't their fault, but it wasn't ours either!

By the time we left, we had been at the spa for 4 HOURS--I didn't even get to my manicure until quarter after 12, which I believe is unacceptable.

This place was completely unprofessional in their attitude and their work and I will never go back even if someone does give me a gift card for them again!

I gave my daughter a gift cert. for a spa pedicure ($52.00). They gave her a pedicure and when she came out, her feet hurt. (She's had spa pedicures there before and that was not the case) The woman who performed the service could not muster a smile. She cut my daughters nails down to the quick. My daughter is quiet and did not speak up for herself, but I'll be contacting the owner as soon as they open today....

I love coming to this spa for lots of services -- hair, nails, facials, massage. My favorite is massage. I always get a great massage here. I had started out with just 1/2 hour ones, but now I won't take less than an hour! I feel relaxed and rejuvenated and completely pampered. I'd rather get a gift card for a service here (or better yet a 1/2 day of beauty or full day of beauty) rather than jewelry!

I visited this salon for a pedicure after winning a gift certificate. The technician did a fairly good job, but didn't have much to say, then left me there for my nails to dry and never came back. The atmosphere is relaxing and they have a very unique little cafe in the salon. I would probably return for another visit.
