I didn't know about its homophobia; reason enough never to go back.
Service was horrible. Not crowded, mid day. Waitress/bartender claimed the cooks didn't read the order and a soup didn't come. Then the wrong sandwich came and taken back without an apology. Lastly, the soup was still on the bill. Too bad they have Guinness on tap, though. Gotta find another establishment for that.

I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS BAR. My girlfriend and I went their to play pool and get a beer. We kissed once at the pool table. Then the bartender and the owner kicked us out of the bar for same sex kissing. Then he called the police on us.

Great half price burger night, pool table, jukebox, live music, and games. What more can you ask for? And it is CHEAP! Everyone is so nice too! You will see everything from Betty Page lookalikes, local artists and musicians, to the 70 year old Hampden man or woman. I live in Roland Park and Fraziers is well worth my bike ride for happy hour!

Fraziers on the Avenue is located smack dab in the middle of Hampden's "The Avenue," providing an easy-to-find location, despite the lack of on-street parking. Beer selection is nominal, but light beer drinkers will think they're in heaven. Drink specials are usually weekly (i.e. Thurs. night pitchers, etc), and are too good to pass up. Two sides (literally) of the establishment give diners the option of "classic bar" or "dining room" atmospheres. On occasion, you can walk in to a karaoke night destined for the outtake reels of American Idol. The food is decent, but nothing to write home about. Prices are generally good, and attract regulars every night of the week.
