Unfortunately, Lucky House has been a bit inconsistent lately. My husband and I have been frequenting this restaurant, which is located in the Weis shopping center off TJ Drive, for about 3-4 years now. Until recently, the food has been surprisingly great! We couldn't find a Chinese Restaurant other than China Garden that we liked in Frederick (and they didn't deliver to where we live). Though Lucky House has the typical offerings, every dish was prepared with fresh ingredients and prices were reasonable. We especially enjoyed their Singapore Rice Noodles (May Fun),House Special Fried Rice, Moo Shu Pork, and General Tso's chicken. The last couple of times we've been the General Tso's chicken has been prepared w/ a overly sweet sauce and darker meat/more fat (a nod to the poor economy lately perhaps?) and not the tender white meat chicken it had been previously. Also, the fried rice, egg rolls, and moo shu have had vaguely burnt undertones. We're not giving up yet though, b/c after YEARS of wonderful meals and service we're too loyal to give up after 2 sub-par meals. So, off to order again tonight! :-)

update: Tonight's dinner was better. The steamed dumplings were really bad (tasted raw in the middle) but the roast pork fried rice, moo shu pork, vegetable lo mein, and egg rolls were good. Rice was dry last time, but moist and fresh this time. So all is not lost :-)
