I just went to the store because my friends told me I had to try them. I was looking for a higher end sofa. They have this line called Smith Brothers and it is great. The salesperson took so much time with me, it was wonderful. He even drew out my whole room for me. Not only did I end up buying my family room but I found a nice higher end kitchen set made by the Amish of Ohio. It was stylish too not like the ones you normally think of. Stores like this are very hard to come by now.

I give Jodlbauer??s five stars for the positive experience I had with their salesperson, office workers, and delivery men. They all are knowledgeable and very helpful. Last October, I was looking to buy an England sofa. I had purchased the sofa from a store in Delaware but that resulted into me filing court action. (The other store did settle with me before the court date.) I still liked and wanted the same England sofa. I drove down the highway and over the state line into Maryland and saw the Jodlbauer??s sign. When I went in I met Eric. Eric is on the ball. He understood my furniture needs. (I live in a condo.) Eric showed me a bedroom set that he thought would fit my taste and room size. He said it would look even better in my place. I bought the sofa, bedroom set, mattresses and a desk. The furniture was delivered on time by outstanding helpful delivery men. I did receive the free trip package as promised. Eric was RIGHT!! The new furniture adds beauty and function to my home.

bought a new england flowered sofa.2 months ago the eric was very helpful. but when my son went to pick it up he thought it was a differnt one my son told him it had flowers so we got it but they did not plan to wrap it my sonsaid it needs to be wrapped for my truck, they did and i love the sofa very much eric knows his business, but i need to find the chair that matches, i would like a reliner please help me to find it eric thank you louise kolego we had to come from baltimore md, he said we had to order but the boss said we could have the one on the floor

Went to buy furniture on President's weekend. We selected a sectional and were given a price. They were running a "Valentines Day/President's Day" promotion. We were told they were giving away a vacation to either Vegas, Ft. Lauderdale or Cancun. We then selected a set of tables; two end tables and a square coffee table. The salesman, Eric, told us with the table orders we "were definately more than qualified for the free trip". We told him we needed to go home to measure for the furniture. Initially, we were going to go back the next day (tomorrow). We came home and measured and drove back to the store to place the order. When we placed the order we asked what was the situation with the free trip. Our order came to $1,849.00. He then pulled the "bait and switch" and told us that we would have needed to spend $2,000.00 despite him already telling us with the sectional order and the tables order that we "definately more than qualified" and that now we did not qualify. Then, on the ride home I heard their commercial on WCXY 103.7 that you needed to spend $1,900.00 to qualify for the trip. He knew what we were purchasing and yet told us that we "definately more than qualified" for the trip but when it came to the paper work (as if by magic) we no longer qualified. He not only lied about the $2,000.00 qualification based on their commercial but he never should have told us "we definately more than qualified" for the trip when they had no intention of honoring the deal when the papers were signed. The old "BAIT AND SWITCH"! Bad business practices all around. ALL of the furniture stores are offering deals on President's Day and other holidays. Don't fall for their POOR SALESMAN PRACTICES, just to make a deal. You're not getting the trip anyway. It;s just a gimmick to get you in their store.

The delivery man went to his truck to get industrial cleaner that would "take any spot out". I continued looking over the sofa to find even more little spots, wether it was grease or dirt that wouldn't brush off with your hand I am not sure. I refused to accept the sofa because it was apparent it was not in new condition. They removed it from our house and we then called the store to find out how they were going to handle this situation. We were told by 2 employees over several phone calls they would return our money since the sofa was discontinued or the fabric was discontinued, one said one thing and the other said something else. Several phone calls later and a call to the owner they are refusing to solve this issue because they insist I "made up" the spots, or I changed my mind with the style I wanted, the delivery man now says he never saw spots, ect. After checking with the Better Buisness Bureau I have found that they have an "F" rating. I found the manager to be extremely rude and consistently changing her story and truth, and the owner, Andrew jodlbauer, to be very abrupt and not trying to settle this issue!

My husband and I visited Jodlbauer's about a month ago and were very pleasantly surprised. We had been to many other stores in the area and were quite fed up with pushy salesmen following us around. As soon as we came through the front door I could tell a difference. Nobody attacked us or shadowed us like a super spy. When we finally were ready our salesperson Eric was very knowledgeable about all the products and really helped us make up our mind. We ended up buying from his suggestions and got it delivered right away. The piece had a small crack when it was delivered and they actually sent a guy out to fix it right in our house. Now that is great service! I'm not sure what store the other people who wrote reviews visited because we were very happy with our shopping from beginning to end. Eric even sent us a thank you card a few weeks later. I've recommended their store to all my family. I will definitely shop there again!

My wife and I went to the store to avoid the hard sell at the larger furniture stores, and in hopes of receiving individual attention from a locally owned and operated company. We ordered a king size sleigh bed, with a box spring, and were told they would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. After not hearing anything from our salesman, Pat, in over one month, I called to inquire. He assured me that he would find out what the delay was and call right back. 2 days later, after no response, I called back and Pat told me that he had asked the secretary to call me back, and blamed it on her. He said the bed had not arrived and that he was doing his best to find out why. After waiting another few days, I called back and got another salesman who tried to help by piecing together the headboard we ordered with the rails from another bed. He was curious why Pat had not offered to help in this manner previously. He told me he would talk to Pat and have Pat call me back. Another several days passed and I called Pat again, who seemed to be unaware of the previous conversation. He said again he would get right back to me. That afternoon we did get a call indicating that the set would be delivered on 12/2, and that someone would be calling 12/1 to set up the time. Well we did the call today, and it turns out they never had the bed. They can do nothing but order the bed again, and have us wait another 4-6 weeks. Pat was now just wanting to be rid of us, and although he did apologize, it was not sincere, as it was followed by "there is nothing else I can do". When I started to inquire about the refund he became totally unprofessional, and very defensive, and hung up on me. I am very upset, but never used unkind words. I was simply wanting answers as to why he was so quick to take my money months ago as a deposit, and now so quick to get rid of me. I will tell as many people as I possibly can of this experience, and I hope you avoid the trouble I just went through.

Jodlbauers has some really nice furniture. The store is family owned and the store associates are very friendly and helpful. The only problem I have with this store is that the furniture is very expensive!!! I guess the high quality makes everything expensive but it is more than I could afford to spend. They also have Jodlbauers too where they have clearance items and still I thought that the prices were too high!

Jodlbauer's carries many name-brand names, also. You will find long-term salespeople at Jodlbauer, which makes for a familiar shopping experience for you.
